Thank you so much for taking the time to write such kind words. Please subscribe if you want to watch more of my stuff because it helps me out a lot! Glow just makes everything better 😜. Thanks again.
it works on anything really. Maybe you did already, but you should get your film scanned as a prores log file so you can get all the colour out of it. You would do the same process as above but your CST node would be different of course.
I usually put one node before my cst node which are my primary adjustments. First apply the CST and see how your footage looks. If you need to adjust the exposure, make it brighter or darker I usually do that in the node I created before the CST. All the rest comes after. if my CST looks spot on and doesn't need any adjustments, than there's nothing going on before the CST node. Hope this clears it up, thank you for your question!
I love your work! Simple and looks great! Thank you for sharing your tips. adding glow effect is the secret sauce :)

No worries, happy it helped!
And this will work on film-based sources as well? I'm looking to apply something like this to my Super-8 and 16mm footage.

I think Jake here gives you a much better answer than I could ever give you. Not familiar with actual film footage. Thanks for the question!
