do u know if the multiplier needs to increased or decreased if i want to slow down the horde refill time or the spawn radius and noise response radius? I go into a city, i don't see anyone, suddenly a puppet comes and 5 more. I kill it, I bandage myself in the house and after a few minutes 6 more come. If i stay in one place for a long time, I will gradually be overrun.. greetings from germany ✌️
It’s quite complex and there always seems to be 2 puppets that will appear soon as you spawn in and they see you or hear you then make noise,I’ve played with the settings and no matter what I do it’s either nothing or too much, we need the int and ext puppets back and thx horde to come now and then,if still needs work and thx devs are on it, the whole system has changed so will take some tweaking

There’s a few fixes needed and the puppets are one for sure,it’s either no danger and waltz through town or get overwhelmed, there’s no more int and ext which is the main threat on a hardcore server, the towns are empty ☹️

The controls you will get used to, i was still learning keyboard just before i got scum lol. with the puppet system I agree, its too much or not enough, the old puppets need to be put back with some horde acton on top, stick with it as its well worth it, come join us on my discord and server, you will have some fun while things get sorted and will make up for you buying it😎
It needs some work and we could do with the interior and exterior puppets back with hordes spawning in now and then, you can turn off vaulting through windows and bashing doors
@@burbul7245 its on multiplayer and single player but to disable it you need to be a server owner if your on multiplayer, i only play on multiplayer, i do my solo episodes on my server as things don't stop when you log off so its more realistic
I feel like I’m living in the twilight zone, everyone thinks this update is impressive, it’s shite considering how long we have been waiting and in comparison to last years December update, the one ruined by removing all vehicles. That flamethrower is useless the mechanics for it suck, the horde mechanics are just rubbish. Useless crap that people don’t want and hyped up by an irrelevant trailer that basically lied. No AI, none of the other vehicles, no more base building elements. Such a shame as the game had so much potential.
I totally get it mate and would love to have more elements in game,I love scum and I’m in no doubt all that will come,AI I would love right now,roaming NPCs etc but that will come, can’t test the hordes properly until I can get on my server when it drops for everyone,I play hardcore and the new system I hope doesn’t take away from the dangers I have already,that for me will be a true test of the hordes, I just hope it doesn’t overwhelm things or go the opposite 🤞🏻
It's no wonder you complain when you obviously don't understand what early access is or game development in general, or what trailers are, or how the horde system works. The devs didn't attempt to mislead anyone, and clearly said NPCs, other vehicles etc would not be in this massive update. Just because it isn't exactly what you want when you want it doesn't mean it's objectively bad, you just don't like it. Big difference there.
SCUM is superior in comparison to every other "survival" game. I played almost all popular ones and I think that SCUM is the closest thing to Project Zomboid that we can get right now. I'm taking PZ as an example because that's the blueprint that I'm after when trying to find a perfect survival game. I don't see a reason for hate because it's still not 1.0v and that last update to make it 1.0v will probably round everything up and make it complete.
What are you finding wrong exactly? its early access but sure is no scam, you're going to have optimisation issues and bugs as new things drop as they work on things, some things get frustrating, for me this new horde system but that's part and parcel of it until its polished, with over 4000 hrs it sure aint no joke, i can think of a few survival games that have recently released that are a joke 100%

Flame thrower needs a buff

they wont refund this for me on steam. i cant stand how i cant get anywhere or how complicated it is. i dont like the controls either

Well the game is not finished yet, and have you played this game on this update?? because not many have done it, since it is not available to us yet.
