    One tip I wish I knew as new player is collecting sets with lot of sp and ssp that way you can pay/buy multiple boxes to build a deck

    Well said! Love the point about IPs, lots of people think Weiss = Anime always, but it’s not always true!

      Do you know if the sets from different IP's can be played together? Could someone with the disney set, play against someone with the one of the anime sets? or do you have to select an IP and you can only play with the cards from that IP against someone else with cards from the same IP?

    Thanx for the info,i bought my first 4 disney 100 years boxes last week. My nephew loves the japanese Kakawow,but as these are almost unaffordable at the moment,this seemed a nice substitute for them.

    Super helpful tips. Now I know that I should buy singles of Mob Psycho 100 because those loose Booster Boxes are more than likely duds. Now to figure out how I want to go about doing Avatar:TLA

    • @PokeMike
      @PokeMike  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Perfect I’m glad you found it useful! 🙏 yes that’s it, unless you can buy them from a store somewhere unfortunately you’d need to get a sealed case for those genuine hits. At which point it might be better to just buy the raws!
      With avatar you could always preorder a few boxes from a store, that way you’ll have a genuine chance 😄

    I hear volume in sales is really low in the UK? Could you give me a detailed response if you experienced this?

    • @PokeMike
      @PokeMike  ปีที่แล้ว

      It’s still imo a niche TCG and yes as with many other TCGs they are much more popular in the US. Usually with UK and AU being the next western countries were you will see sales volume. It does really depend on the set and card (high or low end) but the majority of any signed cards I’ve sold end up going to the US.

    Is there a safe place to buy boosters that aren't guaranteed duds?

    • @PokeMike
      @PokeMike  4 วันที่ผ่านมา

      I guess nothing can 100% guarantee it but buy from reputable stores, I’d suggest asking in the Weiss Schwarz global facebook group as others will reply with stores they’ve got hits from and continue to buy from etc. Plus I assume it’s likely you are US based so I don’t know what stores are best there.

    Hi mate, please could you quickly explain the different types of booster boxes? Why does something like the Attack on Titan set look rectangular, but Disney100 is squarer and flatter? Really confused by it and an explanation would be very much appreciated! Thanks

    • @PokeMike
      @PokeMike  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Ah that’s just the old style english boxes vs new style.
      About 1-2 years ago they changed English boxes from the tall ones to match the Japanese boxes (like Disney). Now both JP and EN boxes are the same just with a language difference.

    Thanks for this vid. Can sets from different IP's can be played together? Could someone with the disney set, play against someone with the one of the anime sets? or do you have to select an IP and you can only play with the cards from that IP against someone else with cards from the same IP?

    • @PokeMike
      @PokeMike  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hey thanks! Although I don’t play or have much info around playing you are correct, that’s the idea of the tcg. Weiss Schwarz actually means black and white. Some sets are black and some sets are white. The idea is you can play your favourite IP against someone else playing a different IP.

    How hard is it to complete a set by opening boosterboxes? Collecting every card from nr 1 to nr 100. Alternate versions of the same numbered card not included.

    • @PokeMike
      @PokeMike  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Depends on the set. Opening a case should give you two full playsets which is 4x of every card from common to RR. So it really depends how many SPs and/or SSP and RRR and SR there is per set. I’d imagine on average possibly like 10 cases which would be 180 booster boxes? Not something I’d advise anyone doing as you could have bought them all several times at that point.
