This is the first tutorial about gifs that I could follow because the voice was loud enough, your explanation was easy to understand, and there was nice muffled music in the background. Also, including your mistakes made it “real.” Thank you.
Good tutorial, but two points remain unresolved: are you using transparent gifs? to your answer about removing the eye from the background layer, the answer would be good, but many gifs don't come with that layer, so it's difficult to remove the background, am I wrong? second point, the gifs have different speeds, does each one move with its own speed? or adopt the speed of one of them. Please if you could clarify these points.
helpppp when i click on save as web it says operation could not be completed my frames are kept as layer 1 2 and 3.when i click on render the app crashes
Please, I've created a gif but I don't know how tu put an image instead of somebody's head. Can you, please, teach me? If you have a video it can help me.
I'm not exactly sure, that has never happened to me before. Could you be more specific? Are you receiving an error? What happens exactly when you try to add the file to the timeline? Is the problem with the layers? I'm really sorry but its sort of difficult to answer the question without seeing what's happening so the more detail you can give me the better I'll be able to help.
thank you for replying so soon! hmm its kinda hard to explain but i'll try. ok so when you made the new file @ 1:19 you see how the background layer shows up on your layer panel on left and on the bottom of your timeline panel. Mine doesn't. So when I add the new transparent layer it only adds it to the layer panel but not on the timeline bar. Is it something I have to fix in settings? Without that layer in the timeline bar im not able to paste the copied frames from my gifs. Thank you for your help! Your vid is super straightforward i just dont know why my ps isn't working the same as yours.
I think know what your problem is. Left click on 'window' then look for the option that says 'timeline' and click it. That should bring up the timeline bar. Also your the Gif you're using has to already be transparent. The transparent layer I add is to keep it transparent once its rendered. Let me know if this helped.
I have the timeline bar open but the layers won't automatically pop up on the timeline bar. Could I send you some screenshots? I've managed to make a few gifs and make them transparent before I'm just working on a project where I've been trying to add multiple gifs on one file. I've tried everything and your vid is the first one that actually works.
You made it look easy. That used to be a material for a week in useless art classes. Thanks!
THANKS!!!! you should know this tutorial helped someone even 7 years later

Hello how did u get rid of the background from the gif before adding it to the blank canvas?
You have to click on the Eye in the Canvas. This are instructions for Photoshop 2016. Sorry for the late reply!
on timeline, the paste frame option wasnt available. anyone got clue what to do?.
happend with me now lmao u found out? xD
I suppose click command v to paste then.

thats awesome
Thank you
Thank you so much!! This is so much help!!
Really helpful. Thank you!
excuse me dude if you want to combine the gifs where should I go . to photoshop on line or what I want the answer please
Good job :)
please help - everytime i try to use the gif on web it shows all the layers instead of just the one needed on the frame
tnx :)
how many gif you can combine in one
The more gifs the bigger the file size and the harder to export I would stick to 5 at the most. The least frames the better. Good luck!
i actually get it but the problem is everytime i paste the gif its too small , how to do it sir ??
Once you select the gif and ( Free-Transform 2:20 - 3:00 ) you should be able to change the size, you just have to pull the corners to make it bigger.
awesome tut, Thanks!!!
PD: how's the music called?
Tango de Manzana by Kevin McLeod. Go to Imcompetech.org you can buy his royalty free music there!
Thank you. Thank you.
helpppp when i click on save as web it says operation could not be completed my frames are kept as layer 1 2 and 3.when i click on render the app crashes
OMG THNX!!!
Please, I've created a gif but I don't know how tu put an image instead of somebody's head. Can you, please, teach me? If you have a video it can help me.
THANKS SO MUCH
How to change speed of each .gif file?
Free transform I believe. You have to have the same frames as the over all combined gif (If I remember correctly) good luck!!
Great tutorial! Unfortunately my Photoshop can't handle it (it always crashes), but great regardless ;v;
Sorry my man hope you find a work around.
lets talk about The Gift.
The result of my GIF is too fast while in the PS is 0.03 with the normal speed. Can someone help me? ;;
thank u so much!!!!!
THANK YOU!!!
why can;t i click on the free transform button. its unavailable.
You have to check mark the box that says transformation tools in the menu up top I forget what it is called
try ctrl+t or go to edit option next to file option and choose free transform from there :D
What if the new file wont add the new layer onto the timeline?
I'm not exactly sure, that has never happened to me before.

Yeah let me see the screen shots so I can get a better idea of what's happening.
Could've simplified this tutorial using gifs with less frames.
Song name?
