If your curious now they have fixed the issue, the replacement core that they put in there was stronger than the other, and how they put the stronger one in instead of the he the clear
And it's still the best pyraminx in general

For sure! There are good reasons to not add it though, bad hardware, hard to scramble, and just variation of current event

@@ButteryCubes it is just like 4*4. If 4*4 has a place then definitely sq1 will also have a place right. All cudes started with worse hardware. Remember a piping sq1 with each turn. We just need to all it and all will happen automatically
@@CubeMasterYT i mean they added 4bld and 5bld, so i dont see the issue. i dont think square 2 is unique enough to be an event tho, maybe a master pyraminx
I recently made an order from Thecubicle and within that order I bought the Calvin's Square-2 V2. I hope mine doesn't have that same screw/spring issue. Plus it'll be a super huge upgrade to my Handmade Square-2 that I made about 10 years ago. This was before the Square-2 was commercially available to buy.

Wow, I thought cubing hardware has improved to stop breaking like that.
The core of the cube had a defect but it comes with a stronger replacement core.
The white core is more stable, I got the maglev and it automatically comes with the white core installed
I have the Adheron Lite cube, it's made by a Polish cube store and that's why it's my only lube

I have the YuHu megaminx its very good. It just started getting into cubing and yuhu was my first megaminx but I cant imagine it getting much better except for maybe very top level solvers.
The Yuxin Little Magic M pyraminx (i believe its the one you got) still is the WR cube, Jasper Murray mains it and used it to break the WR average
Phil said in the cubicle unboxing video that the replacement core of the Moyu pyraminx is made out of stronger material so it’s harder to break, but yeah this is a super disappointing release, I hope they improve the quality control

I had the same thing happen, I got the mgc 4x4 and the center misaligned and now its broken.
This is not related to the video but my ylm square 1 has the magnets in 1 corner that is not in the correct position (it is not clicking into place), do you know any solution for that? (I have try some ways to get it out but the hole for the magnets are too small)
The same thing happened with my Weilong Pyraminx!
Bruh that cut. That's why I don't do risky stuff like cut huge amounts lol. Also the Maglev version of the weilong pyra is like way way way way WAY TOO FAST.

Lubest XMT 10 is the fastest lube I’ve ever tried. It makes most 3x3s uncontrollable, and it’s great for big cubes and square-1 if you don’t overlube. I set up my Volt v2M with XMT 10, and it’s pretty fast.

@@fc3x336 I have. XMT 10 is faster and lasts longer than DNM.
@@OlgaFyodorova I can assure youn dnm is faster. it is a water based lube which speeds the cube up INSTANTLY. xmt is a silicone lube which requires break in but doesnt get as fast. xmt lasts longer for sure, but dnm is faster.

Which pyraminx is better Bell v2 or YLM?
You can hear the dryness in the first cube
It's such a shame with the Square-2 having a great piece mechanism that the terrible center/hardware design ruins it. I've tried swapping the hardware out of a YLM Square-1, swapping the spring and sanding some of the areas to make things fit better, but I still can't figure out a way to stop it from unscrewing itself. If you happen to figure out a way to fix it, definitely let me know!
(Side note, the actual turning quality does improve a ton with break-in and lube)
Hey, a reason I got this cube was because of your comment on Tingman saying it used a good mech, so thanks for indirectly letting me know! I magnetized the slice like a YLM and set it up and it's as lot better and doesn't pop, but unfortunately cornercutting is the exact same as the previous Square-2 (might need more sanding/mods). For me, the screw doesn't unscrew itself anymore, and all I did was replace the spring with a slightly compressed MGC spring and kept it at pretty tight tensions (at loose tensions they always unscrew). Maybe that helps!

My square one looks a little weird… if you have whit on top, the gap for slice moves is on the right side. This wouldn’t be too bad, but it makes parity impossible to execute. Any tips what to do?
White top is something that I do, most cubers actually use Yellow/Black top so they don't have that issue. If you want to do white top like me, switch the blue and green cap and the cube's solved state should be white top. For square-1, always have the larger block on the E layer on the right.

Not sure, but I just pressed it a little and unscrewed it a lot and it eventually came off lol, better than being too loose and leaking though
