Really late reply, but Bradley Phillips did a mod video on the triad where he improved the catch by dremeling the handle a bit and then wrapped a rubber band around that area.
For the triad, upgraded OMW retaliator springs do the job and fit just fine. I have mine running off a five kilo retaliator spring from OMW and it catches fine:) Its a minor performance boost, maybe 5-10 feet but its better than stock.
Because anything with X in the name sounds cool. My theory is based on the fact that the Revolvers are all REV- and the Clip System blasters are CS-. The single shots are all either IX- or EX-. The I or E appears to refer to whether it has an Internal slide pull or an External finger pull. That leaves the X and the only theory I have is that it either indicated that the blaster is muzzle loaded after each shot....or is just there to make the name should more cool.

5:49 I know this comment is REALLY late, but that is likely because the spring is a little too big. If you cut just a little bit off, it should be able to catch. I've also noticed that putting a bit of lube inside the triad can actually help aswell.
Hint tip: Not only does the spring have to fit plunger head and etc. but you also have to take in consideration that when the spring is compressed that it's not wider than the factory spring.That way the catch will do its job. That's what always messed me up on those plunger systems. Hopefully this helps someone.

Unfortunately, like every other needed I have a bin of random springs so I dont know exactly but I do know 90% of them are buzz bee etc. and are from goodwill,thrift stores, yard sales and etc. The modulus does slot better know but the triad hits like a MACK TRUCK!

+Captain Xavier I added part of a Strikefire spring to my Triad and it caught 95% of the time. (the other 5% was me not pulling hard enough). Maybe you could try that.
Haha - I replaced my Secret Shot purse springs with tek6 springs. Added a few feet and helped with the consistency. Stock spring would fire multiple darts at once. Anywhoosies - I popped the strongest secret shot spring into my grip blaster/grip shot whatever and booyah!! Much better. Bet the tek6 spring fits in the grip blaster like a dream and probably lasts a while. Might try that some day but I'll wear out this secret shot purse spring 1st.
There is ACTUALLY a way to make the catch a bit stronger in the Triad. You would need to cut two grooves in the handle where the catch "bar" is. Then, you would wrap rubber bands around the handle where the groove is.
i know that if you squeeze the to bars together where the catch is the bigshock will catch better so in theory you might be able to tighten it down with a screw or something

Or you can mod it to let you have the jam door open and still use it, then top off a mag when you're not shooting. You don't really need the mag permanently in
Oh. That was my idea. Except, you could've put the second part of the switch shot onto it (the shell with the grip and trigger) then put a rail mount on it, then if you wanted to just have a ballistic knife, take it off, take it out, and bam
Walcom almost did it, it primed and chambered, but it wouldn't fire, and he doesn't know why. Maybe you could try? Just a thought Yeah, you could actually make a Deploy really good
Not sure if anyone else mentioned this, but when editing the video it looks like you flipped the order of the Triad and Modulus Grip Blaster segments. You mention the Triad not working in the Grip Blaster segment, before you've even shown the Triad!
I actually filmed the Grip blaster a week after filming the others so I already knew the Triad would fail. a slip of the tongue....I was hoping no one would notice. :P
i know how to fix the triad from doing that, when you prime, you squeeze the plastic piece in the handle. or you can rubber band a small piece of plastic to hold it. :)
Hey captain, is there any spring that is more universal for jolt/triad upgrades? I don’t know if k25 has the same diameter as k26, but if k25 is smaller do you know if it would work?

That did actually play a part in me picking that name so many years ago... I have not yet found a baron. I want one...or three. I have! I picked one up at Goodwill. I extended the stock and painted it. I plan to keep it stock beyond that. If I find another one it will get modded.
I plan to get a Bow Scale and use that to test the pull on blasters. In fact... (goes to Amazon, orders bow scale) I have just ordered a digital bow scale to test the pull on blasters. :P
Do you have a local Big Lot's? They have plenty there and they also have Doubledowns, while not as tasty as the ones from KFC, could also assist in this series.

The triad will take an ionfire spring nicely and still catch.

Some of the names make no sense at all. I suspect they just made a list of buzz words and then randomly pick them.

On the jolt there's a hole in the vert front if you want a better jolt plug that hole.(this is only on the elite jolt)

For the triad you can put a tough rubber band tightly around the bottom section of the grip, and glue a little piece of plastic or something to it

The dart holder on the bigshock can be used as a sight

Sadly no. The whole point of springs is that they do not deform easily. And if you cut down the plunger heads the blaster will no longer latch.

You're able to top load and also if you cut away at some pieces at the top, you can easily top load darts

K25 is a larger diameter so no, it would not work.
90% of BoomCo ones tend to be able to. (Also, I can't remember, but did you do the Snapfire as well?)

I've found that to upgrade a triad, using a tek 6 spring is a great option. It catches easily and has great power.
