You can get lost in the high country pretty damn quick, especially as sometimes them signposts swing around in the wind and you find yourself going totally opposite to where you were going! I tend to mark a hard copy map with a highlighter as I go along and there also should be signs saying Dargo this way etc, it would help those with no reception as often is the case!
@MAD gibbo It truly is a beautiful part of Victoria! Also if there are signposts and the road sign mentions the word "spur" in the wording, just know you're about to be scared to death! LOL 😆 slightly exaggerated of course but expect some gnarly sections and caution is required!
Oh really! We were lucky then. I thought I was smart because as I did have a hard copy map, but not detailed enough for all the small tracks. Oh well we made it out alive. LOL
@@madgibbo44 Yep, my vehicle is not set up for those tracks, no lockers, no reduction gears as I only have 100s! I keep off them trax and go with a mate in his Hi-Lux instead! lol
