Cassiopeia got me into learning the night sky 9 years ago. I’m glad i stuck with learning about stars and other constellations there is so much knowledge in the heavens.
Cassiopeia is such a captivating constellation to start with. It's incredible how the night sky can spark such a profound journey of learning and discovery. 🌌✨
& her husband is right above her to the north (Cepheus) witch also his constellation contains a important star we all know (North Star) they both are jst remarkable!!
The freckles on my arm make up Lyra. I always knew they would align with the stars, too unique of a shape. I also have what I believe is the Orions belt repeating in many areas... mainly my arms
Cygnus is the best constellation in the Northern Hemisphere. Orion may be brighter but Cygnus with a trained eye outshines it. What a beautiful constellation.
I couldn't agree more! Cygnus truly is captivating, especially with its rich starry tapestry. It's like a hidden gem in the night sky. Thanks for sharing your appreciation for it!" 🌌✨
I Really Loved To See the Orion's Belt Star Constellations i Spotted It Yesterday at 19:50pm and I see three brightning star in Orion's Belt That Called Mintaka , Alnilam and Alnitak..By the Way Im from Philippines!
I just love the way I'm so... Fascinated about stars and I wanna know more about them!!!!!!! I want to pursue my dreams!!! And to everyone who's reading this,,, I hope you can pursue your dreams too......!!!!!!
thanks for this, its about time I start learning these things, given that I was named after Orion the hunter, who's belt inspired the construction of the great pyramids and I am fittingly, a scorpio

Yes, Crux is a constellation! 🌌 It's also known as the Southern Cross and is one of the most famous constellations in the southern hemisphere. Its distinctive cross shape makes it easy to spot in the night sky!
How do constellations appear in the sky in the same places if we're spinning so fast and traveling though space at over 100,000 mph? I don't get it! And the North star is always in the same place, how?
@@LindaLou121 Well alright, wise guy, if the Andromeda Galaxy is traveling 100,000+ miles per hour towards us, then why hasn’t it hit us yet? It’s because it’s insanely huge. Therefore, his answer is actually logical.
If you still are waiting for an answer it’s because the universe is just so huge. Every couple thousands of years the constellations do appear different to us tho
The main difference between Northern and Southern Circumpolar constellations is their location in relation to the Earth's hemispheres and the observer's position. Northern Circumpolar constellations are those that are visible from the northern hemisphere and never dip below the horizon. These include stars such as the Big Dipper (Ursa Major), Cassiopeia and Cepheus. On the other hand, Southern Circumpolar constellations are those that are visible from the southern hemisphere and include stars such as the Southern Cross (Crux), Carina, and Centaurus. The differences in the visible circumpolar constellations are due to the Earth's axial tilt and the observer's position on the planet.
Being In southern hemisphere I have spotted Leo , Scorpius , Orion, Auriga, Taurus, Cassiopeia, Canis major/minor and Ursa major/minor. Some constellations are exclusive to particular season as the tilting of earth’s axis.
Sagittarius must've been caught up in a stellar traffic jam or playing hide-and-seek with Orion! 🌌 No worries, it's just taking a break from the fame, letting other constellations bask in the cosmic limelight. Keep stargazing, and you might catch Sagittarius on its intergalactic comeback tour! ✨😉
It can be sighted in summers. As the days are longer , it is hard to spot Orion in summers , but it should be visible in the far west if you live in southern hemisphere.
I'm sailor. I always use constellations to find errors of compasses.. love to use my favorite constellations, such as: Orion, Ursa Majoris, Ursa Minoris, Taurus, Scorpo, Cassiopeia.. when u see stars from ocean it is the best feeling.. trust me ✨

we all know the best constellation is the one shaped like an E

Hey I have spotted more than 5 of these ❤️
What about the crux is it a constellations?
Yes, Crux is a constellation! 🌌 It's also known as the Southern Cross and is one of the most famous constellations in the southern hemisphere. Its distinctive cross shape makes it easy to spot in the night sky!
What's hard about learning the constellation is that it looks nothing like what it's supposed to be.
I saw orion in my apartment
actually Cassiopeia was the name of Ethiopian queen. she and her daughter named it . that's the true story
How do constellations appear in the sky in the same places if we're spinning so fast and traveling though space at over 100,000 mph? I don't get it! And the North star is always in the same place, how?
Because the size of earth just makes super speed slow again.
@@CatInABaseballCap Dumb answer! Makes no sense at all!

Actually its because every object is moving at the same speed in this universe and everything is relative to each other
If you still are waiting for an answer it’s because the universe is just so huge. Every couple thousands of years the constellations do appear different to us tho

That's according to your opinion. Most of those constellations are from the northern hemisphere
Being In southern hemisphere I have spotted Leo , Scorpius , Orion, Auriga, Taurus, Cassiopeia, Canis major/minor and Ursa major/minor. Some constellations are exclusive to particular season as the tilting of earth’s axis.
