Yeah, the old settlement at Cajon Summit was pretty cool! Look up Chard Walker on the internet there are classic stories of his family living there when we worked for the railroad!
I hard the the blue and white and red santa fe SD40-2 locomotive is going to the Southern California Railway Museum in Perris California some time soon in 2025 or next year of 2026 and will operate at perris California at the Southern California Railway Museum. Because I just became a member of the Southern California Railway Museum in perris California in March 2024 and my next railroad museum in 2025 is the California State Railroad Museum in Sacramento California in February or March going with grandma and grandpa and Maky my cusion and going while we have to stop at hotels and other museums in California landmarks.
Visions you can no longer see today of the great "Santa Fe Railroad"! www.cspmovies.com
I love seeing 2 Trains 🚆 Passing Each Other 😊
That is why Cajon Pass, Tehachapi, Horseshoe Curve and Sherman Hill are so awesome! Not to mention countless other locations!
Man.. I sure miss the Santa Fe and Southern Pacific.
Thanks jeffgriggs9233! We do too, two of our favorite railroads!
Wow, the good old days when motor vehicles were transferred out in the open.
Certainly makes it more interesting! It is cool to see the open cars and trucks on open autoracks!

Love the camera angle shots at 4:50 & 6:01. Never knew the railroad had a small settlement at Cajon Summit. Happy Rails & Trails!✌️💙

Thanks ernestorodriguez2547, the Santa Fe Sd-40 did in fact make it to Perris, CA last year. Make sure you make a visit to see it!
Great to see actual blue skies before the use of stratospheric aerosol injection, which seems to be done 24/7.
Sunny blue California skies! Always fresh after a snow storm in the mountains!
