- In a room full of heroes - Dan Hanzus, Gregg Rosenthal, and Marc Sessler recap the final days of the draft. Our heroes start begin going over their winners and losers with the Washington Commandeers , they then take a look at some of the losers . We do a Winners speed round. And we find out who owes who lunch.

As a Bears fan, I still can't believe we got Caleb and Odunze.
The Raiders had a solid draft. Add that to the free agent addition, plus, tons of D/O line men and a couple of WRs during the UDFAs.
The O/D line should be solid for whomever is at QB. CB and Safety have good backup competition.
Controlling the ball offensively and having a nasty defense......I'm loving it.
I'm a Colts fan and I am thrilled that Ballard stood up for AD Mitchell. Even if AD doesn't work out in the long run, the players know that Ballard believes in them and has their backs.

As a commanders fan, I approve your take. But they need two drafts and two FA seasons to get OL replacements. This year was about getting as many players with speed to imptove their roster.
As a Bills fan I have no faith in Keon Coleman. Averaged 4 catches a game and struggles getting separation. Here we go 😮💨
Beane's been good drafting on the offensive side of the ball in the first 3 rounds.
Cook, Knox, Brown, Torrence, Kincaid & of course Allen. He's been more mixed with early defensive picks, so I'm optimistic about Coleman

I say this as a Cowboys fan that after last season was hoping for a little bit more sizzle in the offseason. That said, it’s getting pretty old to hear the same take about their drafts for like the last 8 years. Their drafts have been very good and should earn them the benefit of the doubt. That’s it. Is anybody going to really be surprised if Guyton ends up being a starter? If anything we should be surprised if he isn’t.
NFC North has transformed itself into the best division - all 4 teams have good rosters and coaching

Looking forward to the coming shake up in the AFC West.
The AFC North is primed with the potential to ruin many a teams hopes and dominate in conference and we'll see if that sparks the East and South to play with less finesse and more grit and toughness.
The NFC West is looking like it's gonna be reestablishing it's cream of the NFC position while surviving the demise of NFC East faux dominance and we'll see how they respond to the rise of the North and potential of the South.
By shake up in the West you mean the New Coaches with the same results losing to the Chiefs!

Facts hes a top five QB and beat QB in the NFC BY A LOT ALOT...Hes just one guy and the Cowboys onlybhave him and Lamb on offense but yeah the Cowboys always have a top one or two offense thanks to Dak and he was LITERALLY THE ABSOLUTE BESY QB in football last season... So yeah at least they have maybe the third or so nest QB in football which is yheir ONE saving grace. Because if the had someone like Hurts they wouldn't make the playoffs and luckily a team like the Eagles or Niners dont have someone as good as Dak.

Love you guys and the show but the take on Cowboys draft is so off...focus for team was rigtly on trenches and getting bigger and tougher and replacing key losses in FA, not making "sexy" skill position picks...most picks viewed by draft analysts as good value, especially top 3 picks, and were picking late in every round with very limited draft capital. And, c'mon, to suggest what Jerra said had any direct influence on where Brooks went is frankly ridiculous...he was high on lots of boards and was heavily scouted by everyone. He went before Cowboys could draft him. RB is still an area to address but there's plenty of time for additions before season starts and always RBs out there and a good OL can make average backs look great.

I would love the lads to discuss the structure of the NFL season.
1st change: Scrap division winners being guaranteed a top 4 seeding in the playoffs. Always going to have bad divisions. No one wants them to have a home playoff game.
2nd change: Scrap the current fixed divisions all together.
My preference: Redraw the 32 teams into 8 division of 4 each year. Could become a new event in the NFL calendar. See draw events in “soccer” (football), World Cup or Champions League - highly anticipated events. Could even seed it similarly so the perceived better teams avoid each other. Improving the chances of having better playoff games.
Go to an 18 games season. 6 games vs your new division, then 12 vs 4 teams in 3 other division. Also drawn randomly. Roger wants this!
If you have to keep the legacy AFC and NFC then do the above but redraw the teams in those two conferences into 4 divisions of 4. Still 18 games but the 3 divisions for the 12 games are just the other teams in your conference. The current NFL schedule setup with intra-conference games, just stinks of these being a legacy issue really so I’d get rid of them.
3rd change: As per change 1, no priority for division winners, top 14 teams (I’d make it 16) using record. Strength of schedule as tiebreaker make the playoffs. 1st plays 16th. 2nd, 15th etc etc.
Or go top 2 from each division make the playoffs, then seed them 1-16.
Pros: should get more of the “best” teams in the playoffs. Completely variable superbowls. 2 current NFC teams for example!
Cons: lose legacy conference and division setup. But it currently rewards poor teams for being in poor divisions, creating some pointless wild card weekend games.

I thought Tony Khan's appearances were the highlight of Draft Week. I'm surprised that this show, of all shows, is the one being kind of finger waggy about it. Pederson will be fine lol. That was a shocking line he dropped on Wyche, but the comparison is remarkably accurate, which I won't get into here.
FWIW soft neck braces aren't supposed to completely immobilize your neck, only limit the range. Pat McAfee's goon attempting to bury it when Pat did the exact same thing was another funny part of the whole thing. ESPN made sure to keep that comment in!

Very likely casual racism? You mean historically accurate assessment? Based on the complete, not just nearly complete, but complete lack of white starting cornerbacks in the NFL, for over 20 years. It’s a pretty safe bet to make that Cooper DeJean will be, at his very best, a starting safety in the NFL. Not sure if you noticed, but the safety free agency market was dead this year. It was equally dead in the draft. That’s what happened to make DeJean drop. Coaches don’t just look at the guys skin tone and assume he can or can’t do something. They look at his physical traits and his film and let his body of work speak for itself. This is what his dictated his value to be.
