Is it just me or do the DJI Mic 2s sound much much worse than the Rode Wireless Pros?
Can you transmit to the receiver and record inside the transmitters at the same time as a backup?
why we can't change individual rode Wireless Microphone go pro recorder level?
Great review! Thank you for all your work. I literally just bought the wireless go 2 on prime day… So I'm thinking I'm gonna return them and get the pros because I was already tempted of buying the charging case but if I can get all that stuff included for $100 that is worth the value. The thing that sucks is I had to buy an extra cord connected to my iPhone 14 pro max because I don't have the new USB-C adapter plug in yet I still have the lightning port.
Anyone else having issues with pro and instagram live?
It was said that the lav mic with the capsule facing towards the body sounds better than with it facing away from the body. Can you verify that Cheng?

I was able to get the TX fuzzies and the RX cable in the charging case with a little finagling. I do agree with you on the case.

But as this is not UHF frequency will it not be affected by other signal interference, if used as a wireless mic to address from a pulpit by paters etc.? Will the mobile signals in the speakers and others pocket near the stage effect?

Hi Cheng, Good review for Rode wirelss pro, i have an question, do the wireless system supports Line in signal on Mic port from audio mixer or any line out source, will it get the signal or will it clip, will it have the advantage of 32 bit float?

I would like to monitor audio (via 3.5mm) from the rode ánd record 3.5mm to my camera. Is it possible to use a usb-c to 3.5mm adapter for an extra analogue output? Or is there any other way?

yes, the sony mic doesnt have internal recording at all. Always have redundancy when recording anything

I just don’t understand why everyone gets so excited about big clunky mics like the Rode wireless pro. I’m sure it sounds good just like the other road mics have, but I think I’ll just stick with my Picomic II. It is so small and does a great job, and it has a connector to attach lav PicoMic. Now that would be an absolute winner!

The industrial design of the Rode mic is by far the worst.
They should have just copied DJI’s (aka Apple’s) design.
Will it work with an iphone? Im having a hard time getting my off brand mics work ever since ios 17.0.3
you have to buy extra cable to attach the receiver to version iPhone you used.

JANUARY 2024 - - just to clarify - there are 100's of influencers out there reviewing their FREE ones sent by Rode - us PAYING CUSTOMERS - will need to WAIT until JANUARY 2024 to get one - all the reviews out there - and THAT is conveniently left out. RODE needs to be better with PAYING CUSTOMERS.
I ordered them recently on sweetwater and they say shipping as soon as this coming week. We shall see.
you can pick it up around B&H for store pick up or even overnight shipping…do your research before you try to diss reviewers…why would they pay their customers when YOU HAVE ZERO REACH TO SELL OR MARKET THE PRODUCT
