Hi Ghoust. This was not a sealed set. I have disassembled and assembled this set many time. It's starting to get brittle. You can hear the squeaking of the pieces. I have not seen an unopened box of this for as long as I have looked. BrickEconomy has an estimated value for an unopened set 497 (US version) at $2951 and set 928 (outside of US) at $2460.
