Why is everyone so happy with this interview? They did not talk about the 18k illegal deduction but gave more like a warning to all the beneficiaries about the rules and criteria of this scheme. So disappointed with Global window. I watched this interview thinking you’d ask her about the illegal 18k deduction but it was more like an interview to silence the voices of the beneficiaries.

This scheme doesn’t allow people who earns more than 10k or even owns a phone to claim this benefit to build a house. Even people from the most remote village atleast owns a phone, but around 48k people were eligible for this scheme but that doesn’t necessarily mean they fulfilled all the criteria laid by the govt ( almost all the people availing this scheme in india doesn’t fulfil all the criteria) . So by warning the people who are raising their voice for the 18k deduction, they are giving warning to them as they’ll be conducting strict checking if they fulfill those criteria and their benefit will be snatched away. So now those people who have complain will remain quiet, 18k will be cut, and once again this dirty politics will trump over people rights.

Now the question is whether this fund is given by the Department of the state or centre Govt ? Why it is so different in Nagaland only because this scheme is implementing in whole India. Sir, in many village rich and salaried are granted money for construction. Where as widow poor helpless without shelter are left out. So dept along with district administration should take action over the village council for injustice done.
Looking back to my village, I can see people have good houses and government servants received this kind of scheme. I thought that this kind of scheme was only meant for government servants. Thank you for my knowledge.
