Shiny locks are a complete scam and it's even worse because they like to give the shiny forms in some bullshit events and giveaways its no fun in most event cases
Logically speaking, this is how the Pokémon should have looked, shiny Pokémon are just part of an old color gene that has become rare, the up to date Pokémon should have been the rarity equivalent of shinies. Unless of course, shiny Pokémon color gene had been dying out much earlier.

I remember a shiny I found pretty much as soon as I got to mt cornet or whatever the noble electrode is at. Turned around after running away from a luxray and saw a shiny Luxio. I caught her, added her to the team, and named her Lashara.

I would love to see a Pokémon game where the shiny and normal Pokémon chances are swapped, this way it would be amazing to see and catch a white Arceus instead of the yellow one... It'd be really funny to try, I don't know if I would be surprised or not if I find a regular Pokémon
I had a shiny starly pop up in the obsidian fieldlands, then the very next run for alpha bibarel I got a shiny starly at the same exact place as the other one.
The greatest thing about this game is that you can get the shiny charm without trading if you're wondering about the starters cuz you can only pick one boom you cant find the other in this game you just need to go to space time distortions.
I would already check the area to grab as many resources as I can from trees rocks etc while waiting for it to form, as something to do, so unintentionally I was doing shiny checks XD.
With the mass mass outbreaks I've been shiny hunting since the first week of release and now I'm close to a full dex of shinies (excluding legendaries) but man porygon, shieldon, weavile and cranidos are going to be a nightmare
the shiny charm is really broken in this game. After I got it, I stopped getting shinies for a week. But before I had it I kept getting shinies back to back and sometimes even two in one outbreak. Probability sucks.

Huh?? You can catch the starters as shiny, in distortions and massive mass outbreaks. You just can't get a shiny for your actual starter.

My shiny luck was awful in my play through. I literally got no shinies until after I fought the final boss…. And it was a geodude.
