as a kenyan guy n dated ugandan women i agree that they are more respectful yes but i did not appreaciate the being knelt down to. i noticed its given ugandan men a sense of ego that is not so good. yeah its part of culture bla bla but a woman can show respect in more ways than kneeling to a man. i dont appreciate women being treated as surbodinates.

I see quite a few comments on here from Kenyan men saying that they can't get with the kneeling thing. Well maybe it's because you've been so used to being disrespected and emasculated. That it throws you off when a woman does the total opposite. You guys need to get over that. I mean, damn, if you say to the Ugandan woman that she doesn't have to kneel. Then I'm sure that she'd respect that as well. So now you still can end up with a good Ugandan wife, who isn't kneeling. Ugandan women kneel when serving their men or husbands because its their culture. It has always been that way tangu jadi. Each community has their diverse practices and way of life. Kenyan women should not be made to feel terrible simply because we cannot kneel, let them do their thing as we Kenyan women do ours.

Not every culture has women that kneel in Uganda
They are the minority, the Banyankole are the ones who don't kneel , most of us kneel in our culture l , it's not only Baganda who kneel as most people describe it, am a munyoro from Western Uganda and kneeling is our culture
