That car has air ride suspension. Some have springs in the back tho. But both ride awesome. I've grown up to a lot of caddy's and Lincoln's. I have a 99 Lincoln towncar. Got my license in a 95 or box one like he's driving. You also can barely hear the motor with them running.

But if that stops working look at advanced or oriles for springs to replace the air ride in the back and turn off the air ride in the truck and it will ride alot better in the back. My dad a d I have done this in so many Lincoln's and not had a issue, and the best part is that doing that is way cheaper than getting a new air ride in the back. Also if you don't know the code to get in the car, look on the hinge on the right side and the code will be located there.
