Your sister killed it! It runs in the family.. the horses were the highlight of this gig for me. Curious to know what the guest count was. I’ve been using the EV 30s for guests under 50 now. When I’m outdoors, I hit the limits pretty quickly but it’s cool indoors . Curious to know how the 30s perform under a tent. Anyway, congrats on opening up another company and helping your sister out! You are an inspiration to us all! Lee it up!
I noticed the shyness on the mic as well but I also saw the joy she was having. I love female DJs. Think DJ Rachel. Your sister has a LOT of talent, she's going to represent Bunn DJ company just fine!
Great critique and refreshing to see somebody honest with what they saw. Think it would great to see some more videos where you critique the dj and setup. I spotted the mic not being on the stand and a little bit timid on the mic but other than that looked liked a great outcome for a 1st wedding gig. I'll be heading back out dj'ing after a number of years away and have to say I'm going to be a bit nervous communicating with the crowd using the mic. I'm sure I'll get back into it. Be interested to know if there's anywhere to go where dj's can pick up on MC and mic tips for events? Bearing in mind I'm UK based and slightly different clientele here.
Thank you for your video I liked it I have a question Because I saw that you didn't have a trend grid or transport save net in your car and that you packed your things up to the top behind you I wonder if you couldn't run into any problems in the event of an accident I drive like this very often and make my own thoughts about it How do you see the greetings from Austria or all the others out there ?
Ahh yes informative information that will definitely help her as she does more gigs.. my brother-in-law helped me during my first wedding in the same way and it made a difference.. now when he comes to gigs he rarely comes to the booth.. I wish her all the best
She seemed to do a great job and I could see how she loosened up later in the reception .... even her physical mannerisms were relaxing. Thanks for all your insight and advice. I'm trying to transition to doing this more full time in a few years. I have been watching dj's and learning/critiquing what I can. I'll have my wife critique my next 2 gigs over the next month!
Those are only rgba so for white you have to turn your rgb all the way up for white. But I believe he was just talking about them being the white housing.
@@DJJoeBunn I only ever saw them on amber in the video. But you can do white but it's just not as bright white like the hex pars that have rgbwa like the Both lights that I ordered and my Chauvet wash fx hex lights.
Joe, do you have a tiktok? (I'm thinking of creating a DJ presence there and would love to see someone I respect using the platform before I decide for sure.)
@@DJJoeBunn haha!! Only if it's right for you! You're already well known so tiktok may be more of a hassle for you (one more platform to release content to). The reason I'm thinking about it is because it posts on other platforms for you if you want your tiktok post to go to, say Instagram, for instance. Another reason is because I don't have a Facebook account for my DJ business, so tiktok would expand my social media presence and do double duty by posting to my already existing, but under-utilized, social media. Also, I'm still learning how to DJ, so a short tiktok video here and there is much more approachable to me than going live on Twitch or other platforms. What do you think? Am I on the right track? Do you know of other DJs you respect that have tiktok accounts that you could suggest I take a look at?
Yo, hook a sister up. You'd make your sister pay for a Command Center?; and you said she doesn't have a vehicle to handle gear transportation. A Terrain is still a compact SUV. She looked nervous, being watched by her brother. Maybe you could have coached her on how to make announcements (Wording) and practice it a little. Maybe a Z Stand from OnStage would be ideal for her coffin since she is using a facade; with the Z Stand you can adjust the height to her liking. Help her get her wireless mic mounted in the case she already has. At every gig as you know you should always have extra cables. Does she have a Rock & Roller? If she's loading everything herself and doing gigs by herself maybe a Command Center will not be for her. It looked as she had them dancing and having a great time. Much success and happy DJing to her.
Because her intention was to hire experienced DJs and just run the company, but everyone out there was a clown so she said, "screw it, I'll do it myself"
Thanks for watching! Leave a comment and tell me what you thought of this video.
Looked like it went well! What did she think about it? How did it feel for her?
@@DanielleJacquotMatt She had fun. Was really nervous going into it. This was over a month ago now and she has done several since and smashed them.
Hey i live in sheridan and work audio lighting stuff out there its pretty cool
Hey can I get your sisters contact info if she working in my area now there is very few weddings dj here in Sheridan

As a budding DJ myself, it's motivating to see others that are just learning getting out there and doing gigs! Thanks for sharing!!
You just gotta keep on getting better!
That's the plan, Stan! 😜
Cool video Joe. I think your comments were spot on. I think she did pretty well. She will
be just fine.
It's in her DNA!

I feel like around 100 were there. It worked for that tent size. Not perfect for all events.
I am DJing my first wedding soon and this helps so much! Thank you. Female DJs unite !

It's in her blood!
Those horses though! EPIC
You really missed how big it was, it lasted much longer, but I was so in awe that I didn't hit record!

Good idea!
Very nice all she needs is a command center and nice edits.
She is getting a CC!
Joe you're very encouraging and thoughtful with your suggestions. Nice job.
She has been playing every weekend since. Getting better!

It's a beautiful place for sure.
Great vid for new djs
I agree!
Well Joe,you did a great job on your sister's wedding!
She did a great job not me
Those OG uplights, do you have to manually program them to be white? If so, what's the hex numbers you use, Or is that a preset setting.
Nah, it was built in I think.

Confidence on the mic!!! Tell her to practice her announcements. She seemed very nervous but overall it looked great

For first time she did great it almost seams to me the table is to tall for her.
It is. She needs bunngear.com. She is ordering one!
How is it her first wedding if she owns the company in Montana?

Domain no longer works? Trying to see the pricing spreadsheet.
