I am in Chandigarh, Punjab, and I'm planning to visit a lovely Mediterranean restaurant in Chandigarh and another famous restaurant for their mutton and famous tikka dishes. Stay tuned!
Today, we started with a visit to the most famous and best Mediterranean restaurant in Chandigarh called Olive Restaurant. This restaurant is exceptional with high-quality food. We began with a large platter containing various small dishes as appetizers, including lamb kebabs, saffron sole fish, butter spicy chicken, and hummus, which were all excellent.
Next, we enjoyed a very juicy burger made with lamb patty, mushrooms, rocket lettuce, truffle oil, and caramelized onions, which was outstanding.
Their salmon, a must-try dish, came with rice and teriyaki sauce, which was truly remarkable and very fresh.
For dessert, we had Tiramisu and donuts, both of which were exceptional, and I couldn't resist.
After that charming restaurant we visited Sran Desi Ghee Meat, a small and cozy place with incredible dishes. We even had the opportunity to see the kitchen and the process of making creamy naan and mutton. Then we enjoyed delicious dishes here, including Keema Mutton (minced meat mutton), Pure Mutton Curry, and Chicken Kali Mirch Tikka served with Indian Paratha and creamy naan, all of which were extraordinary, leaving a memorable culinary experience.
Later, we went to a cool and famous cart in Chandigarh known for its Gulab Jamun and Kulfis. They also had traditional Indian sweets, milk cake, and almond milk. The combination of hot and soft Gulab Jamun with cold Kulfi was truly amazing.
