If the wrasse is anything like the wrasse we have in Hawaii, you can bake them. Scale, gut, make slits and put it in a baking pan. You can find recipes online for "stuff uhu". It's the same recipe for parrotfish, wrasse.

Hey man, how was the condition of the track getting out there?
Keep the videos coming, great work 👍

Thank You Very Much mate! That was older footage but at the time the track's around there were as usually. It is rough and at times very scratchy - Nothing for a fancy new 4wd.

Why don't you keep the leather jackets Marcel? They're way better eating than the dirty old sweep. Very simple to clean as well. You don't get a lot of yield off them because the head is so big, but the meat is super tasty.

I literally thought that afterwards and again while editing Steve. And decided next time I'll definitely keep them to try it finally! I heard that they're very good eating and I think You can just peel off the skin and have the "chicken breast"..

Thought the same thing. We have something similar that we call a hagi. There is different types, but a few of them are edible. Can make nuggets or fry.

The seal is eating all of the knocked out reds that you are throwing back. 😂 great vid. Cant you add a second hook in the tail of the soft plastics to get the tail biters ? Just a thought. Wishing you tight lines my friend.

Thanks mate! Haha, it might look like the seal must have enjoyed fast food.. I'm not sure if it got any of them. I think and hope most of them re-entered well and escaped the seal. I have seen other people adding hooks to their soft plastic's. Not a bad idea if You wanna catch the fish nibbling them apart.. Which I mostly don't though. Tight lines mate!

hey dude just curious when this was filmed as its worth noting there are complete firebans all across wa right now and cosatal fires get away really fast no matter how safe or experienced you are

It was old footage as I only light fires when there's no fire band and risk to have them getting away mate.

Your bait size too small for bigger fish

I was hoping for Breaksea Cod or Harlequin Fish in particular but would have also been happy with Pink or Queen Snapper + Dhufish. The bait should have been big enough for all of them I would have thought.
