Yes he is, so is Bagget if you meet him in person. I rode with him after Lorettas when he won Superminis....I was on my 450 and he was lapping my fat ass...mind you that year he was the fastest lap out of all riders despite being on a 112cc two smoke little bike. He could turn so much better than I expected in person. TV doesn't do this sport justice at all. I also watched him quad a jump (the 4th bump was right at a 180 turn) and the little bastard made it every lap. I merely sat there and watched him over and over, then realized I don't have the stones to make that move...yes my bike had the power and probably the ability to make the turn, I just didn't have the guts to turn...(yes I was a fool and went for the quad and then blew over the berm as I was shocked I made it). LOL Damn this sport is addicting, and once you do it, no matter your skill level, you are hooked.
Love rediscovering these videos! Man, we sure do miss you in the sport, Blake! Wish you nothing but the very best for whatever your next venture is. Loved seeing Jeff and his dad! Can't imagine trying to do this for a living. I simply do it as my passion!
Jeff Walker. You are one awesome dude and im so glad you are getting some recognition. I seriously think you will get a ride with a big team soon and you so deserve it. Was lovely to see you and your dad enjoying racing. Thats how it was with me and my dad, it was in our blood and we lived the passion. He's gone now but i still ride, just miss him being there. Keep pushing hard my friend and props to your dad, he is one awesome guy. I will keep watching your progress from the UK 👌

So cool to see that they got Jeff on to talk about the privateer life! Like honestly don’t see it enough and all the behind the scenes stuff for each rider is amazing! So much respect for those guys! 🤘🔥
Trust me they want nothing but your time how can you give them the time they want when you spend more time on the bike. Yeah she supports me but one of these days she will sit down with me and lay it down that this can't continue.

Much respect to all these guys and gals ....tough tough sport to be in for a living. I'm a weekend warrior and will ride till I can no longer twist the throttle
This episode out of all them really hit home. Between Jeff Walker and his dad and Blake. Being a privateer is tough as hell working 40 to 50 hours a week then riding and doing all the stuff that goes with that and maintaining relationships with friends girlfriend and or wives is exhausting but day in and day out get out in those woods or to the track and you do what you have to do. Much respect! No one know the struggle of being beat down to the ground but getting back up to keep on fighting...
when people tell me hockey or football or any stick and ball sport is expensive I burst out laughing... Motorsports are insane costs! Just to become an amateur even
Man I really hope that Jeff Walker will shows these factory riders some dirt in the face.. Walker it will be all your one day keep pushing it a little more every time.
Once your in you're hooked for life is the best statement. Think I'm gonna go hop on my bike now and shred a bit. Great inspirational video and insight on the riders and what they go through.

Jeff Walker seems to be charmed. How the heck did he land this spot in the renowned RED BULL MOTORSPORTS video series? I mean, I love what he's doing, and his channel, but he doesn't seem to be on the level of the guys that usually secure these spots. But hey, more power to him, and a big congratulations.

What I have learned and seen is if there is one trick that seems to be crucial it a rider peaking physically at the same time he gets good equipnent at the right age mentally and physically...which is tricky when u have factory teams that give u a one year chance to show your brilliance before they replace u for a more consistent rider is either winning or right on the rear tire if first place consistently and now the bikes have all gotten to a superior level so the playing field is more equal and that means at the top level your not just fighting 5 guys in your class now everyone has a good bike....I think that has made things more challenging then anything else....THANKS
You got passed.....that always happens to me when I dont hold the throttle open enough, long enough....guess what ,they are better at racing at motorcycle than me.....

He was in the great position that he had inherited a contract of his father's with a local company. He got good money for any win, second and third. Start money, three races, three purses plus sponsoring money, plus a fixed contract with the brand he road for. Though the visitor numbers back in those days were completly different, too. Going back even further, my granddad was a european vice champion in 1957 a two time german champion and he won some 120 international races, including namure. He was a DKW and later a Maico works rider. Back in that day being a works rider meant that he had to work in the factory just as any other dude, porting engines and assembling customer bikes, but he got his bikes for free. They made their money from price money, he'd race in up to 3 classes in a weekend, 175cc, 250cc and also 500cc. And they had real masses at those races, he rode several times in front of 100 000 people.
