I always wondered if you could part hair with the crotchet. I have dreads and have had an issue with parting. The crotchet looks like the way I will do it
@@HelloklaWell I didn't do it exactly like this tutorial because I cannot fish tail/plat braid for the life of me. So, I did do the top half of my hair like the tutorial and it look so nice that I pulled it back into a ponytail extension. I got so many compliments on it! Then I just sectioned off the rest of the hair into squares with bands and then crocheted the locs in and they were beautiful. I kept the bands in but they do break after 3-4 weeks. It is easy to redo and keep the locs going by adding them back in. I used protected styles for 2.5 years and my hair finally grew back thick! I recommend!
That's amazing!!! 😍 It will help me as I still don't know how to do neat and tight cornrows. I am wondering if this method is secure and allows a long-lasting wear for the crochet.
I said in the video ( in case you skipped over some parts) you can also twist it as well, either way it goes it can be braidless. I just decided to braid.
Your hair looked amazing just being braided down in that style!
This is easy and gorgeous so far!! Wanna see part 2!! 😍😍😍😍
Yeah, where is part II
Your brows tho😍
You are so beautiful and resourceful!

The final look is nice.... but, just the crochet pattern is super cute 3:28 on the video.
Right, like she can just wear that style.

Thank you. I'm going to do this for my daughter's hair. I am not good at braiding at all.
Nice!!...Using this method on my daughter. How did u take the rubber bands out at the end and still keep the "braided" look without them unraveling?
I’m sure she used scissors
This came out super cute ! I might have to try this look on me!
Thanks so much!!🥰🥰
About to try this today!
