Thank you for the comment. That sounds like a great FD set and I'm glad you find them useful for cinema cameras as well. I don't have experience with all those FD focal lengths but the few that I have used all produce great results.

Thank you for the question! You can do all manual shutter and aperture, or aperture priority with the Sony A7II. I use both depending on what I'm shooting. The camera does not see what aperture you're using since there are no electronics in the lens, it uses the amount of light and adjusts the shutter speed accordingly.

I scoured all the usual places like Ebay and such, and finally just did a good old Google search. I looked for a long time though before I found it. I've also seen garage/estate sales be a good place to find these vintage lenses. Patience is needed to hold out for the good stuff though.
@@Al_Prazolam Patience is definitely key. I would also say, be ready, know the prices of the lenses you are looking for, so you know a good price/quality when you find it. Usually if you don't get it then, it is gone later.

I have the 24, 35, 50, 85 ,100 Fd set I love them for photos but especially on cinema cameras

Great video! This is one lens I've been thinking of getting for a while now. They go for about 100 bucks over here though.
