Great video! I awakened him last night, right now I have him with Golden Eagle on my main heli. They melt any units with officers with shields. I will be working on Phoenix to pair him with over the next couple months. I can confirm that bug was fixed 😂
There are definitely some things in the game I think are broken. I can't confirm it, but it is a pretty complex game so not free from defect unfortunately.
Talked to you in game yesterday, blue here , I think he is gonna be overpowered as hell when they fix his tactical skill, he won all the battles with it not working lol. Def getting him
To me that is the main take away here. He won without his tactical skill being fully functional. The fixed version, I believe the shield will be significantly less, but with an 1800 coefficient, I think that will largely make up for it.
Hi DX7! I love this officer and perhaps I could explain why is shield is so powerful. As you are aware, dmg coefficient relates directly to the dmg of the troop whereas a shield coefficieny is taken from the HP of that troop. A troop will always have more firepower than HP, even SH and as a result 1500 shield coefficient will be less than 1500dmg coefficient. Lord of Orders skill mentions that it is worth 25% of the dmg coefficient of 1800, so 450. However, on my light tank specifically, it has triple the firepower than hp so whilst 1500 shield coefficient would deal for example a shield of 5000, 1500dmg coefficient would result in 15000, for arguments sake. However, on other units this can be closer to 3x firepower and as a result 450dmg coefficient would be equal to 900 shield coefficient or sometimes more. 3x would be 1350 coefficient which makes it very similar to Steel fighter type skills and makes him one of the best officers. If only I wasn't F2P!
It seems to me the newer lounge officers are getting better than the older ones do you think this is correct? I’m currently still working on getting saber the nation but to me he seems like he’s all getting obsolete compared to Lady liberty Dr. Payne, and lord of war what’s your take?
Very good question. All officers get better over time and old officers made obsolete (or out of date). This is why the skill system was introduced, to make use of old officers. As the game gets older, this will continually happen because players will complete officers and research, and Lilith will need new sources of income to keep the game going. Some officers like Lady Liberty aren't designed to be better, she was actually designed to be paired with Sabre, and that combination is extremely powerful (I have this). Some officers like Professor Pain or Lord of Order do and will replace older officers. Lord of Order will naturally be replacing Steel Fighter. Most players I have talked to have already said this naturally, and it was my first guess on which officer would be replaced on the field. Steel Fighter will go to some other unit inside the garrison. Even on free officers, you will notice their Dmg and Dmg Resist buffs are no longer 15% but 20%. In time, I guarantee we will see the first 25% officer within 1 year.
it is because the BM is considered armor and will take armor damage while artillery are considered personnel and take personnel damage. So tanks have easier time killing BM than they do killing artillery because of it
The tests are each several minutes long. The first test was 15 minutes. No one wants to watch that. The video footage is cut and edited as to not waste your (the viewer's time), but the old officers did not win in that test. As the units both get lower in their Unit count of the Troop the shielded units take over and win due to their superior defense and the lower damage output from the opposing Troop.

Steel Fighter is a Defensive Officer with a different Role than the offensive officer :D Also you use the officers in the wrong order... Steel Fighters shield lasts longer, so she should be the Aide not the Captain. Because otherwise the longer shield will be overwritten by the shorter duration shield from thorns... Dude I appreciate the test, but they have different uses. You really should test him, and only him vs pain, which is another VIP officer officer... They are not MBT officers anyway... so put them on a light, heli against Heli or MBT/SH You also do not have to think that the shield is much weaker, just look at the numbers... 5.71m shield vs 5.69 shield ... so they ar emost likely the same, just some officer stats that skew the numbers sligtly.

Sorry this is just how to calculate dmg coefficient of an officer
And if you add Prof Pain's skill of 30% more dmg coefficient, the 25% becomes 585 coefficient

Can you test him against pain becouse he is lounge that is gonna be his competator in my opinion

The shield is not overwritten the shield HP is added to the active shield

Please repeat those tests multiple times. you dont have to show all testruns(maybe in a table)... but the outcome of those fights are never the same.
You are right. Some test runs could differ due to RNG and % based skills, but it is a good baseline to start from.
