OK we were talking about G1 in the video, not Prime, and the Matrix only reverted Optimus Prime to Orion Pax, but it only did that, not make him weaker than Megatron, he beat the scrap out of Megs 3 episodes later without the matrix. He would remain that way until the manga, Battlestars (which is a sequel to Zone). Battlestars, despite being a manga-only story, IS part of the japanese G1 cartoon continuity. Headmasters' sequel, Super God Masterforce has Ginrai, a human Godmaster who unintentionally uses a transtector that was intended for Optimus as his body. Masterforce antagonist, Devil Z stole the body to create the Godmasters (which everyone was unaware of until the end of the show) before sending them to Earth, which is how the body ended up in the hands of Ginrai. Ginrai (the human) would live, while his robot counterpart would die and be reborn as Victory Leo in the Masterforce sequel, Victory. Ginrai and Optimus are NOT the same people in Japan. And thank god, because Ginrai is a fantastic character in his own right. In Battlestars, Optimus is given the Nebula (found in Zone), which brought he back to life and reformatted him in Star Convoy (who's FREAKING HUGE, btw).

I bought the game 2 days ago and it's freaking amazing. Right now I'm playing as Megatron in Chapter 3 and I will do the Zeta Prime boss fight next.
