Despers are my favourite Trinidadian orchestra. They inspired so many pan players here in the UK.
Clive Bradley was once referred to as the Quincy Jones of Trinidad music. This music is timeless.

Some arrangements from today cannot match this from 1980 ... should've won that year!
despers needs to get back to this tonal quality with their pans. The pans today dont have this sound at all
