Which Baffert horse will be given the lead and which horse will be the one hanging back? Watch the 2015 Preakness again from the break and tell me that Dortmund was ridden with the intention of winning even though we all know AP was the best horse of the crop anyway. And the horse that loses rating is the one you have to bet next time. We've seen this with Baffert and the other big trainers when they have more than one speed horse in the race. Chad Brown - Technical Analysis vs In Italian in the 2022 Diana comes to mind.

Oaklawn horses LOVE Pimlico. A replay of the Arkansas Derby is a distinct possibility. One thing's for sure... Just Steel will outrun Seize the Grey. Lucas horses can't put two good races together anymore. So it;'s "in" for Just Steel and "out" for Seize the Grey. Spoiler: Uncle Hevvy. Good Luck.

JK is all over this.....But Muth also eye-balled the pre-derby favorite Timerlake and sent him back HOME. I really do not care about his odds....I got 3-1 in Futures #2 and as a saver took Imagination at 24-1 for a couple sheckles.

i had the all others bet in the preakness future at 21to1. the only reason i made that bet was because i thought mcpeek would win the oaks with thorpedo anna and wheel her back in the preakness. then my plan was ruined when mystik dan won the derby. he cant have his other horse beat his derby winner in the preakness.i have no doubt she is better than these horses in the preakness.
Not a fan of favorites so ill be betting Imagination to go wire to wire. Pimlico usually always favors good speed horses.
Can't imagine muth will be too far back and thought Imag had no excuse in a slow SA Derby but we shall see.
Seize the gray has the breeding to get it done. , Baffert does good at Monmouth seems to be close to California tracks surface.., I wish there were more derby contenders in this race. , gotta root for the derby winner. Hopefully the Mcpeek barn has a repeat weekend.

You guys Crack me up. Stating that Muth will win because he beat Mystic Dan in the Arkansas Deny? Really? First off, Muth wouldn't have beat Sierra Leone, or Forever Young in the derby and Dan is peaking right now. Muth in not sure about but muth has not ran at the distance Dan has. Just something to think about. It's not Muth I'm worried about in the preakness BTW. And yes, I hit many bets in the derby thanks to Dan, including the Trifecta.
For one none of three horses you mentioned are running and Mystic Dan who lost to Muth is on two weeks rest. Better include this horse. Arkansas and Blue Grass put out the best triple crown horses this year.
