with your loyalty programmes, i understand with the card you card buy to get access to certain pay for lounges but, you say you use certain cards or flight alliances or points. how does that work please or do you have a vlog on that already?
Thanks for commenting. I do have an older video outlining the ways I recommend getting into lounges. In this video and the longer one that shows all four lounges, I just entered with my regular economy ticket using Star-Alliance gold status.
@DavidGTravels hi, thank you. In your older vlog does it show you how you get that kind of status? Any ways to boost? I've never considered getting into lounges with economy tickets, especially on long haul
No, I didn't go into detail on that because the ways of earning status are often changing and vary a lot from airline to airline. The best strategy is to determine what travel plans you have and cards you have access to and plan accordingly - I find that these days it's often easier to earn status with non-US airlines.
It looks like a chicken oyakodon, which is a Japanese dishes with breaded fried chicken soaked in half cooked egg and soy sauce-based broth and some onion.
2:03, You mean Boeing 787-10, the longer variant? 2:06, What really, even on a red eye flight to Taipei, it's fully sold out, even though it's expensive on a full service airline? No way, wow. Is that your 1st time arriving on a bus gate in Taipei and how's Taiwan, did you enjoy your trip?
Yep, 787-10, the longest Dreamliner. Taiwan is great, I had only a few days plus camera issues to fix so only was able to explore Taipei. Highly recommend though and will be back!

I have been wanting to go to Taiwan for so long. Love the food there. I think you will like there a lot.
It’s a really beautiful country!
@DavidGTravels By the way, love your videos. Very informative.

Interesting, it didn’t taste like oyakodon either.

I see, yes. I am planning to visit Taipei for the 1st time 1 day next year in May or June.
It can get quite hot there, but in August I found that weather alright.
Yes I see. Thanks for the heads up. I see, but typhoon can strick Taiwan from July to October.
Welcome to Taiwan!
Thanks so much, beautiful country!
I don’t get the attitude of trying some food in Asia that you are not familiar with is gonna make you sick… grow up.
I’m very familiar with chicken katsu. You totally missed the point that the main part of the meal served was very off.
