This is a great tip for battery swapping. Did you see the Phat Bodies lexan buggy body for this RC on ebay? It looks pretty cool. Another decent cheap battery is the Hosim 2000mah 2s lipo, $34 for 2 on Amazon. It’s very compact, fits well in the 1/12-1/18 RCs. Take care👍🏾

Yeah I almost bought a phat body to accommodate a bigger esc on the 144001 but I ended up getting the lcracing truggy instead. I wanted another rig bad I guess haha.. Thanks for the info on the hosim batteries. Always good to have other options.

Already did this a while back. I use some cheap 2200 drone batteries I found on ebay. I removed the battery holders and put the batteries in a different way.
