    I love the Wings of Wisdom for a weekly card. I read once the all text and everyday the affirmation to anker me.
    I use it also for recap card at the end of a tarot reading and it s amazing!

    If you do past life readings, both of the archetype decks, especially the ones by Caroline Myss work well for those. The Earth Power Oracle may be used for those types of readings as well. I have struggled with finding a goddess oracle that includes all of the ones I would like to be featured in one deck. I ended up combining The Divine Feminine Oracle with the The Goddess Power Oracle since they are the same size. A couple of the same deities were featured in both decks, so I kept the one that resonated with me most and removed the other. Sometimes when I find that I am not using a deck, I think it’s because I haven’t found the right way for me to personally use it yet (past life readings, healing, etc).
    Thank you for sharing this! 💜

      Thank you for those great suggestions. I love the idea of using Earth Power and Archetypes for past life readings. I haven't mixed decks together or even taken cards out yet. I think you're right that finding the right way to use a deck for yourself is key. Thanks for watching!

    Oooh, I love that Celtic Tarot at the end. Really beautiful, and I love the design of the cards.

      Yes it's a great card design isn't it? If only I could figure out what to do with it!

    I want the Wen deck. Love her book and videos. Also adding the Fairchild deck to my wishlist. Have several of hers but never seen that one!

      Yes I'm the same. I seem to want everything Benebell makes. Although I think that's my only Alana Fairchild deck. Which others of hers do you recommend?

    I also keep the Mythic Oracle around even though I don’t use it much. For me it’s because I really like the spreads in the guidebook, and I like doing them with the cards from the deck, gods and goddesses and such. Great idea for a video!

      I hadn't even looked at the spreads in the guidebook. Thanks for the tip. 👍

      @@HazelJaneTarot there are a couple about the mythic cycle and where you are in your personal journey etc that are just very thematic and work so well with the cards 😊

    I just got the Divine Feminine myself, I cant wait to work with it. Im a bit afraid my self to do an inventory of all my tarot/oracle/lenormand/rune collection.

    Interesting how our use of decks ebbs and flows. I use got the Wild Unknown Archetypes for Xmas as I’ve been following Deanne’s (Blue Crescent tarot) series on it and was drawn to it. I don’t think I would have got it or known what to do with it if I wasn’t watching her videos. A couple of these decks might find their way onto my wish list…..

    • @HazelJaneTarot
      @HazelJaneTarot  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Oh thanks for that recommendation. I'll check Deanne out cause yes, I don't know what to do with it! The ebb and flow is so interesting. I rewatched my faves of 2020 and lots of them got no use this year at all!

    I recently got rid of an Akal Pritam deck and even though it was really small and didn't take up much space it felt really good to clear up something that was not working for me.

    I love these videos! I’ve had little time for my own practice since the arrival of my little boy, but watching your content helps me stay connected.

      Oh my it's so hard to get any time for yourself with little ones. I found if my girl would nap out of my arms, tarot and studying tarot was a nice, quiet thing I could do in whatever time I got! The online shopping for decks when I with baby in the middle of the night had a lot to answer for too! Lol.

    The Chakra Wisdom Oracle is one of the most underrated decks I've known. I understand why, but if - like you said- one takes the time to read the stories and work with them, it has great potential and it is a very interesting deck to work with!
    I keep the Mythic Oracle and Tarot for the same reason you do, but I still haven't made the time for them. I have a lot of decks as well...it is impossible to work with all of them for a significant amount of time within one year. There are a few that I don't connect with but I genuinely like most of them...so I guess I will have to be okay with the fact that some of my decks may not be used within a year. :)
    I loved watching this! xx

      Thanks for watching - it's good to know I'm not the only one with decks waiting around to have their day! But in the meantime, so nice to have and look at occasionally!

    I really enjoyed seeing all of these decks 😊 I own some of them & love them - Celtic tree, queen of the moon, angels & ancestors. I don't work with all my decks so I am happy to keep all the ones I love looking at (collector here 😎) I would suggest you pass on quite a few of these but I don't because each to their own, right? I do know that time doesn't grow on trees so you know if you're going to use a deck - there's no rush 🌲😀

    • @HazelJaneTarot
      @HazelJaneTarot  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yes, absolutely each to their own! I think I'm in a mid way space between collecting to have them and collecting to use them. I think if another year goes by... 🤷🏻‍♀️

    Oh, I"m inspired to say so much about this video!!!! I do have quite a few of the decks you mentioned, some of which I've used and some not. I can't wait to hear what you have to say about the Elemental Oracle. I bought it, and returned it straight away!!!! And now I can't remember what it was I didn't like about it! You've inspired me to go through my decks to see which ones didn't get any or much use this year. Some decks don't get used because I really don't like them or can't relate to them, but others don't get used simply because I just have more decks than can possibly be used. So that brings up the whole issue of culling. It's a shame to miss out using decks we actually like because we have too darn many decks!!!!
    When I do my year ahead spread I use The Angels and Ancestors cards for seasonal cards. So I put the Tarot cards for each month in a circle with January at 1 o'clock etc, then I make a square around the circle with four cards for the seasonal cards (I suppose I could use 8 for the Wheel of the Year, but sticking to four seems simpler). I also pull a Goddess card, either randomly or purposely chosen in the center to represent a Goddess I want to work with over the upcoming year. Then I write the cards in my planner, as well as my journal, so I always have them in mind as I go through my day to day activities.

    • @HazelJaneTarot

      I love the idea of using an Oracle for each season as well as the 12 months. I think I'll do that myself this year.
      I've held off from posting the review of the elemental oracle because it's hard to be critical of someone's work but I don't think that one was fully thought through for a few reasons ... I should post it one day!
