just wanted to share some info as for kaws toys. known professionally as kaws (stylized as KAWS), is an american artist and designer. his work includes repeated use of a cast of figurative characters and motifs, some dating back to the beginning of his career in the 1990s, initially painted in 2D and later realized in 3D. some of his characters are his own creations while others are reworked versions of existing icons. these toys are quite expensive but rm and jhope are known as kaws fans. as far as I remember you have a reaction to "who are bts" or smth like this. there were a few shots from rm's studio. he has a large number of kaws toys in it. and the current comeback of hobi is also a sort of collab with kaws as he created a 2D promo-video to it.
I love his flow. He changes so much. Thats why I really love each raplone member, they are so unique Kaws is an artist they admire. He did the cover art for JHopes album thats going to be coming out.
I enjoyed your reaction. This song is always a banger and is a great confidence booster. I play it in my car before work for instance. Actually, I play Hope World in my car A LOT (and now JITB too). After #Hobipalooza, this song has taken on more meaning for me. It's been a few weeks since his first solo live performance. Remembering how we sang along with him and how hard he went the song has so many emotions tied to it now for me. I grew up going to live concerts but stopped in my late 20s to mid 30s. I understand the power of live performances more and more these days because of BTS and j-hope.
Yeah I love the intensity in his voice in this one and Base Line. I love how he plays around with and animates his rap / vocal style in these songs, it's so uniquely Jhope and I'm hoping to hear more like this in Jack In The Box. I agree there are a couple of times its hard to tell if its Jhope or Supreme Boi. I think it's because Supreme Boi's tone is slightly similar to Jhope's but the fact that they also use the same style here adds to that.
At 5:50 you were right it's Supreme Boi. He's also the one singing the airport line. Supreme Boi was in the lineup for BTS when it was just gonna be a rap group but after Bang PD decided to debut them as a kpop group Supreme Boi dropped out of the group and decided to stay as an in-house producer in Bighit. He has worked on many BTS songs previously but lately he's only working with TXT (another group under Bighit which debuted in 2019). Supreme Boi kind off has a problematic past which is why armys don't mention him much. We thought he left the company at first but he has been working with other hybe artists. Overall he surely is talented and knowing this much about him would be enough for you ig. He's also featured on cypher pt.3 and is a rapper who mostly likes to brag in the lyrics. BTS had a rough path and they were struggling a lot at the end of 2017 and start of 2018. Hope World came out in March of 2018 and jhope raps about how they (the 7 members) are happy now. Some of them have many kaws toys (jhope himself got a whole collection, RM also got some), Some of them are buying expensive clothes or a house and all of this is the fruit of their own hardwork in a bitter industry, industry that never supported them (as he rapped in last verse) and now all his 6 friends are enjoying all the cool stuff - be it having all the luxuries or being able to go on bigger stages than anyone ever imagined (the next line saying red road - red carpet when i open my eyes). Also i think it was 2018 only when BTS revealed that they get calls from many celebs to collab but they'll choose the artist that fits the song instead of choosing based off popularity. ROCKBOTTOM is a crew that houses many ex Bighit trainees (so kind off like before BTS there was ROCKBOTTOM - the crew isn't affiliated with Bighit tho). RM was also part of it but dropped out in 2015(ig?). Most of the members of ROCKBOTTOM are pretty problematic (were involved in rape and drug scandal) and have also talked bad about BTS, specially RM in the past. It's a bit upsetting that Supreme boi was allowed to give that crew a shoutout in this song. Many seniors in the industry, be it at variety shows or the older kpop idols looked down on them and used their seniority to harass not only BTS but many other new idols. I would recommend you check out Baepsae/Silver Spoon/ Crow Tits. It's another of BTS' social commentary.
Supreme Boi is not problematic. People just spread misinformation about him. He is one of J-Hope's best friends. Let's stop acting like he is bad or something.
@@ipurpleu1668 Back during BTS' debut days (2014) he was literally caught on camera taking bad about the group and their music with other underground friends of RM, that too in front of RM. He laughed when i11evn made fun of RM's looks and the song 'Boy in Luv'. Yeah the members have a good relation with him and probably sought out those differences but let's not pretend that that never happened. Even here in Hangsang he name-dropped his crew ROCKBOTTOM which houses some very problematic artists with troubling ties to sexual assault and a drug scandal. supreme boi once co-wrote a song with kidoh and iron that promotes rape fantasy, a situation none of the artists provided an acceptable apology for. He was also close friends with Iron who has been convicted for a severe case of domestic abuse and attempted rape but SB still is out there endorsing him in this song (Iron was part of ROCKBOTTOM). Because of this back in 2018 antis started bringing up SB's past and BTS got so much hate for still having Supreme Boi co-produce their tracks (they just wanted a reason to hate on the rising group). Like I said, he surely is talented but there's a reason why his name isn't associated with BTS as much as it used to in the past (i'm guessing Bighit didn't want to lose a good producer so they now make him work on TXT's songs instead).
@@kamakshakefta4775 Maybe you never actually saw the video, but RM was RIGHT there, laughing with them. They are friends, they are allowed to joke with each other. He knew him since middle school, performed as a duo with him for several years, and they were the original members of BTS. RM knew Iron LONG before Supreme Boi did. Why does RM get a pass with being friends with him but apparently it's a dealbreaker with Supreme Boi. Also Supreme Boi PRODUCED, not wrote, a song about BDSM with them. Big difference from what you are saying.
