I just started “crafting” I’ve never had a creative or crafty bone in my body, but after having my 4th miscarriage in just over a year, I needed something, an outlet of some sort to temporarily escape reality I guess. Something to help me heal. I was 13 weeks pregnant and knew the gender, he was a boy. This is the hardest loss by far. I have 6 kids, so I know how incredibly blessed I am, but it doesn’t minimize the loss, it makes each loss that much harder because I know exactly what I’m missing, I know just what I’ve lost. Anyhow, rambling on…. I’ve turned to crafting and it’s not easy. It doesn’t come easy for me, this video just gave me so much inspiration! I saved some cans the past couple days. Ran them through the dishwasher and was hoping I could figure out something I could do with them, then I ran across this video. I am too excited to recreate these today! Thank you!!!!
Hi April, I am so sorry to hear about your losses. That must be so unbelievably difficult. Thanks for sharing and will pray for you today as I think of you and your family. May the Lord bring comfort in ways that only He can, as He completely knows and understands our grief. Wow 6 kids! You are a busy lady I am sure. I am thankful you felt inspired but the video and I truly hope you do enjoy these crafts! Take care and God bless💗 Elizabeth
Bless your heart. Jesus is with you sister! My husband and I have been saving tin cans too . Another thing you can do is paint the cans and attach a fork on the side and bend over the poky parts of the fork. Put pencils etc inside and give as gifts. Also cove with material and add wrapped candy etc. With Jesus leading us, we can do anything! Will keep you in our prayers!
These tin can do not even look like cans! High end decor to a T. I’m obsessed with every single look! I can not wait to try these! Just wow! Teacher gifts in the future! Phenomenal job!❤️🥰 New subscriber and I can’t wait to binge your other videos!
Hi Lindsey!!! You are so sweet. I have to admit I was pretty surprised at what an excellent base a tin can is for making really high quality stuff. Like I think it would definitely hold up for awhile. Thanks for all your kind words! Seems like we are kindred hearts. Let me know what type of videos you’re hoping to see! 💗Happy Crafting! Elizabeth

Love the video. Everything is beautiful. The sheet music is my favorite. Thanks for sharing your ideas using the tin cans. I use tin cans to decoupage napkins onto. ❤️❤️
I don’t know if you’re planning on leaving your cans on display like that for Christmas but, they sure are pretty bunched together like that. I save cans all the time and craft with them. They make cute gifts too. Thanks for sharing all your ideas. ❤️💜💚
I could probably make an entire community of gnomes with the amount of green bean casserole I make for the holidays! 😂 Great job with everything! I just subscribed!
Really clever ideas! I love repurposing everyday items. I am thinking of using a tuna can, or cat food can and hanging it so you look inside, and putting a little scene inside... Inspired by your projects. Get a sanding block to even out your cork board bottoms. Maybe put the cork on after folding fabric under the bottom... Might work. I was thinking a layer of rocks might help weigh the tins down too. Could make pretty herb planters with a plastic cup inserted... I like the socks too...lol. they all turned out pretty! Bravo!
Thank you! Yes the tuna can idea is wonderful! After doing these I thought the possibilities are endless! Good ideas with the sanding. I found the cans were pretty sturdy even as is..but rocks on the bottom won’t hurt either. Planters yes! Thanks for watching! 💗 Elizabeth
Little rocks also add to drainage for any real plants you might use! You can disguise a hidden stash of sweets/candy in them. And also keep small games inside them, like noughts & crosses (tic-tac-toe), for keeping visitors happy. 😀😀
New sub here!! I love all your ideas. This is so funny, because I literally have a bag full of tin cans from Thanksgiving that I was going to craft today and your video popped up on my suggested videos. Loved them all! Hi there! Thanks so much for your kind words! That means a lot to me. It was fun to make all the tin can creations, I only wish I had time to make more! Thanks again, Elizabeth
I was so happy to run across your channel! I've been saving cans and jars because I knew they could be crafted! Your ideas for your cans were so stunning! I do have a few questions for you, though, did you rust your jingle bells, and if so, how? Also, did you glue your birch pieces to the felt, or did you purchase it that way? One last question, I've never used cork board, but I like the way it finishes the bottom of the cans; could it be lightly sanded to smooth it out, so you don't have to cover it up? Thank you for your awesome reuse ideas! I'm one of your new fans and subscribers! :)
Hi Tamara! Thanks for your kind words and great questions! I did have some small antique rusted bells on hand. But I did spray paint some with antique bronze. The birch logs were from Hobby Lobby. They came with the felt attached to the back of the birch logs. Good ideas with the cork! Thanks for sharing! Happy Crafting! 💗 Elizabeth
