जैसे ही युट्युब खोलता हूँ तो अपने आप यशुदास सर्च होते है।
वैसे संगीत की कोई समझ मुझमें नही है लेकीन मुझे पुराने फिल्मी गिनें मन को सुकुन शांती मिलती है ईसलिए मै पुरानें गाने सुनता हूँ और सबसे उपर होती है यशुदासजी की आवाज होती है।

संगीत का धर्म होता हे जब खंडवा मे एक समारोह मे किशोर कुमार का सम्मान कीया जा रहा था तो संगीतकार नौशाद नाराज हो गया था ओर वहा से उठ के चला गया था उसको पसंद नही आया संगीत के महान गायक किशोर कुमार का सम्मान नोशाद ने कभी भी किशोर कुमार को अपनी फिल्म मे गाने का मोका नही दिया ओर एक फिल्म मे तो उनका गाया गाना भी निकाल दिया

in voice quality there are a few singers like Rafi, Kishore, Mahendra kapoor, SPB, Jayachandran, Madhu Balakrishnan etc etc who are more or less in the same calibre as Yesudas.
It is in versatility, technical perfection, rendering maximum %age of songs in best voice quality etc etc that Yesudas differs from other said names.

His voice is too good and beyond any limitation. Without his voice Hindi cinema will miss many things. He is my favourite along side of Kishore Kumar. But some of the songs are so good that only he could had done judgement with those type of songs. I have never heard god voice but definitely he is a gift of god like Rafi/Kishore/Lata/Mahindra Kapoor/Bala Subra/Kavita K/Sonu Nigam/Mukesh etc. There are any.
Actually olden days singer's voice were very unique. it might be because who ever had gifted voice were turning or coming to singing. We had many diff variety of voice. But now a days many trained prof are coming to singing . They all seems to have same voice . So voice quality all looks similar. Alka Yagnik or Udit Narayan has also some what different voice quality.
I strongly feel uniqueness of voice has everything to do with a successful singer. Of course everyone has to do training to become a good singer . That no one can escape it.

really really heartening to come across all the accolades Yesudas is getting , especially off late .He is undoubtedly the best all round singer for me and hence not at all surprising to view these comments about him .
I would say this also that his ardent fans who are neglecting his non Hindi songs just because of the language barrier problem is really neglecting those at the cost of some 'serious divine entertainment' .
Having said about Yesudas, there is one singer about whom I have always believed having all the talent to have matched Yesudas or even rival him and that is his contemporary and long time friend P.Jayachandran(@6.08 in this clipping). Despite having a voice just as enchanting as Yesudas, his own lack of killing instinct and bad luck prevented him from reaching where he was actually capable of.
Any way, he is my 2nd best singer as of now , slightly above Rafi. I always regret that P.Jayachandran too didn't sing quite a few Hindi songs at least just like Yesudas.

दक्षिण के जिस कृष्ण मंदिर में इन्हें गायन की अब तक अनुमति नहीं मिली है, वह निश्चय ही कंस अनुयायियों द्वारा संचालित है. ऐसे मंदिर व उसके दर्शनार्थियों को एक बार नहीं बल्कि लाखों बार धिक्कार है जो एक देवतुल्य इंसान के शुभ भावों की कद्र नहीं कर सकते. ये तो हिन्दू सनातन के नाम पर कलंक हैं.
