Factually incorrect if times were recounted and retraced. In the case of O Hansini, it was made explicitly clear that it was a Kishore Kumar song. Other songs in the film were given to him (Shailendra Singh) which did not click. The aura and talent of Kishore Kumar was so overpowering that even his son was eclipsed in it. But overall he was a brilliant singer and did justice to most of his songs. Kishore Kumar did not need to stoop to these levels. Also Kishore Kumar was never threatened once he came out of his shadows in 1969 till 1987, and even proved as good as Rafi Sahab who was years ahead of Shailendra Singh or others.

When Zehreela Insaan was being made, Rishi and Shailendra were a hit pairing. The producer and Rishi himself wanted Shailendra to sing all the songs. But Pancham wanted Kishoreda to sing O hansini. Rishi was apprehensive because Kishoreda was so senior and he feared his voice would not suit him. But RD was adamant and got his way. When the song became a superhit, like everybody else before him, Rishi joined the Kishoreda fanclub and subsequently, most of his hit songs were by Kishoreda. Get your facts right Vedica ji.

I can't comment on Kishore Kumar's doings against him. I also like the smoothness of shailendra singh's voice. I still remember i saw him at Bombay zoo in 1977 shooting for his film Agreement with Rekha and second time in a dhaba just out side Darbar of divine Mata Vaishnodevi in June 1996. I really like the way he kept himself low and docile, and there were no tantrums when i recognised him instead he gave me 5 minutes. May almighty bless him a healthy and happy life. 😊

Only a fool or a die hard Kishore Kumar hater must have thought of posting the above video .Kishore Kumar himself was not given recognition for many long tears ,he was termed as untrained singer though he sang innumerable hit songs for himself and Dev saab yet many rejected him for flimsy reasons. However, Aradhana movie in 1969 changed his destiny and he never looked back The same music directors who had never been happy with his voice were now all praise for class, quality and versatility. Except for Naushad who hated Kishore Kumar for reasons best known to himself ( anywhich ways Naushad was a spentforce when Kishore Kumar 's graph started rising ) all lined up to work with KK .
To Shailendra Singh career was sabotaged by KK is utter nonsense and rubbish....why then after demise of KK in 1987 ,Shailendra 's career take off ....please find justified reasons to taint KK 's name .....KK is a Legend so stop vilifying his name ....He struggled and worked his way up to attain the position of Numero 1 ...Legends are Legends ..

Kishoreda was a music industry alone. His voice, modulation, tones, expressions were things I can only dream of doing. And it’s like he wasn’t even trying. Naturally gifted phenomenon he was. Every song he sang was a super hit for me.

I respect and admire Sheilendra singh's voice. His songs were no doubt melodious and impressive. But Kishore had his own charisma of voice which was unparalleled. I think no one can ruin someone's career. There might be some other reasons why he disappeared from singing stage which he himself could explain better.

Kishor kumar was beyond compitition he had no compition, he did not needed to go after Shailendrasingh or anyone else, Rafisaaf was around and he was king of playback singing but still kishorda made his mark and even today his songs are more popular then any other singer or any era. Kishorda used to refuse to sing many songs, he even refused to sing for BigB. kishorda only sang more or less 3500 songs but he is still No.1. Shailendrasingh was good singer but unfortunatly he was in wrong era. Who can be the match of rafisaab and kishorda?

बेकार की बकवास मत किया करो, किशोर कुमार के आवाज़ के सामने कोई भी उस समय टिक नही पाया, मोहम्मद रफ़ी को भी 70 के ज़माने मे संघर्ष करना पड़ा किशोर कुमार के सामने तो शैलेंद्र किस खेत की मूली था, मुकेश के देहांत के कारण इसे कुछ गाने मिल जाते थे बस।

किशोर कुमार ऐसे नही थे. उन्होंने बहोत सारे गायकोंका गाना थुक्रराया था जो वो गायकोंके लिये बनाया था.ऐसे काहकर की वो gaana वो गायक आच्ची तरह से गा सकता हैं.
किशोर कुमार मे खासियत थी की वो किसी की भी आवाज बन सकते थे.
ये बात किशोर कुमार जैसे गायक के लिये सोचना भी गलत है. हम इससे बिलकुल सहमत नहीं.

Shailendra Singh got some very good songs, his voice matched with Rishi but Kishore Kumar could match his voice with many. Kishore Kumar was versatile, could sing many different types of songs with varied moods and feelings. Even the next generation singing star Alka Yagnik ji told that Kishore Kumar's voice was full of romance, people went mad while hearing only the magnificent, dynamic, bold, powerful and confident voice of Kishore Kumar during live shows
