Streetside Anthony is the nicest person and was just being nice letting Epic and his guy leave books under his table as they shopped. He has let me keep books with him many times while I was shopping at cons and 100% trust him with my life. Amazing man and was not involved in this event in anyway other then being super nice and letting them keep their purchases under the table. I love the Queens Comic Party shows and this whole theft event really was upsetting. Yup 3:39 that is me, hanging out with friends having a good time and the last thing I thought would be happening at this event is a couple of dudes stealing shit.

Please before doing a commentary video, take a few minutes and do some homework. I reshared a video of Epic & his employee at a local comic show stealing books from a vendor with some of my personal experience and condemning stealing from people.
This has nothing to do with “taking out competition” or “creating drama for attention”. This is about what’s right and wrong and me calling attention to why it’s wrong. Honestly, the last thing I want is to be making appearances in TH-cam videos again. I was simply calling out bad behavior.
He needs to delete this video asap, do massive research and THEN he can make a well informed video

Seems to me like Epics response did not address him being caught. I am concluding that he is a thief. Most people that get caught doing something seem to do the "how about you...." defense. I'm glad I know who he is and where I will not do business.
Thieves always go on the attack after being caught.
All these East Coast guys are coming across as shady as hell. Every dealer knows each other. They all buy/ sell/ trade with one another. They rub elbows together at all the cons. And when one or two thieves start thieving, well, It's putting all of them in the lowlife sleazy category, which is sad. The comic community needs to lift each other up, not scam and rip each other off. None of these guys will be stealing comics for long, they will drop out of the scene and go scam some watch dealers or something. Sell used cars.
The person blurred out in the video was a vendor at the Queens Comic Party show from 10/28, he's requested we protect his anonymity, that's why he's blurred out.

It's funny how sellers act like your best friend when you buy from them, but shut the gate and take an "All Business" attitude when you try to sell them a book. They've perfected a culture of being your friend and creating a "Community" to further their own business interests. Now they are turning on each other? Love the drama!
Every business does that. Just go to a pawn shop. Your brand new item means nothing to them. But it's a gem when they're selling it. Be sure of what you buy and try not to put yourself in the position of selling something.
Trust me the resellers are not anyone’s friend. The only thing they want is your money. They buy on the cheap then try to double their money. Nothing wrong with reselling but they can give a shit about the community.

Some of the details of the actual event caught on video are off but your definitely spot on regarding that they are showing that there is No Honor amongst Thieves...when one WN Influencer is "caught" showing their true colors & their greed well the other Snakes in the bucket are more then quick & happy to strike each other. BozoBolo used to call his band of Thieves "WN Family" well you helped make a very dysfunctional family indeed and everyone is seeing it now 💯 (too bad my IG got taken down twice now so I can't help spread the word & let people know what I've always known & have been saying for years now😢)

Nerdy didnt get stolen from. SHe was in Florida, this show was in Brooklyn. Much information is out there regarding this between Queens Comic Party, Beyond Wednesday, The ComicCom Podcast and Keep it Thoro. I would recommend a bit more research before stating the interaction between Epic and Nerdy on their IG posts were about theft between them 2.

Agreed. Nerdy is mentioned a lot because she is one of the best and most popular dealers in the community. People mention her name alot because most people know her. Her actions and business methods are of the utmost integrity and honesty. I have done business with her and know many people who have done business with her and have only heard good things. Anything else is just rumor mongering by people looking for views, tags, mentions, etc

It's crazy that now even nerds and geeks are turning into thieves.
Whatnot was a decent place to buy books. But now it seems so scummy. I've seen several shows, nerdy included, where they inflate the value and use pressure tactics to sell their garbage at a premium.
My immediate thought is, "who filmed this"? It's not security footage, someone filmed that directly. Did they suspect something was wrong? Did they know in advance that something would happen? Was this done on purpose to fuel drama?
Apparently they knew this guy was coming and they put cameras on him. He is now saying it was a set up.

lol just saw this but man whatnot comic book seller/influencers are worse than used car salesman I wouldn't doubt if they are doing some shady stuff. Just my humble opinion shop the smaller sellers they tend to have better deals and seem to be a bit more humble.

People waaaay over pay on that app, hard to find a legit seller on there. Some shops use it to sell there new and previous releases which I like because I travel for work and hard for me to actually get into an LCS
I avoid WhatNot like the plague and only stick with reputable sellers with track records. Heard too many bad things about WhatNot. Might have to wait a bit longer but I'm OK with that.
I'd rather just buy a book off ebay for market price than give money to any of these whatnot lovers ruining the hobby

This is the same behavior that occurred in the 90’s comic boom. People stealing books, employees stealing out of pull files to sell out the back door to pocket the difference, jerkoffs running in and literally elbowing people to get the newest hot book. Stores being broken into and valuable books stolen.

Dude some bad stuff going on there one person got caught stealing from another seller is that not like #1 commandment of what not to do in a trade show from another seller.
If you slow down the video you clearly see some extra books were taken then afterwards you see them crouching showing stolen items. If not guilty why do you have crouch secretly to show the items taken?
In my opinion Danielle is legit, she puts in the work nonstop buying and selling big books. I met her at Heroes Con this year, and she was really down to earth in person.
I think she and Epic have had a rocky relationship doing business with each other. She did also say tons of her followers had reached out and asked her to weigh in on what happened.
Epics problem was if your going to steal books you might as well deny, deny, deny.

The video really isn't clear because we can't hear what is being said and it looked like both paid one via his phone and hoodie guy took money out of his wallet to pay. It would be good to hear both sides of the argument. Disappointing to hear about any bad blood in the community.

Epic did initially deny that he took the books, it wasn’t until he was sent the video showing the books were taken that he admitted it then said in a live that he was set up. Way to deflect with acetate. I’ve acknowledged, learned and moved on. It was almost a year and a half ago. Enough. Outright stealing from a vendors booth lying about it and threatening people isn’t even close to the same thing.

Come out of that man's hand I saw something come out of that wallet and go into the clerk's hand and then the wallet went back where it came from, watch It again.👀🙄
He slips two books into his pile that he did not pay for including an ASM 300. Over 1000 dollars in books he stole. He bought a cheap Wolverine title to make it seem like they weren't stealing, but he clearly slips the other books in the middle of the pile.

I'm just stumbling into this, but WhatNot just doesn't seem sustainable. Sellers getting caught selling fakes, no proof of condition, and a platform that is slow to act at best, and outright ignores issues at worst.

Im not a fanof neither and for sure not a fan of the hight priced rip off postage dog whatnot.. thefts happen everyday at comic shows they are nothing special it is only because of who they are. What about the small guy they never show this kind of crap about them. People call them influencer ha i call them bull shit con artists.
Epic is a massive streamer on what not I've seen him up to 300 people on a stream I've seen nerdy girl with a lot but I don't think I've ever seen her 300 many times I have noticed that some big streamers raid other big streamers after their stream is over I've been on a smaller streamers show in which epic actually rated them yet I believe epic had under a hundred people on history when the smaller streamer was raided. I am not taking sides in this situation I just left a stream and the sellers were really mad at Epic and he said he would band anybody that basically sided with Epic . When sellers take sides that's when things are going to get worse. I believe everybody is considered innocent until proven guilty by the court of law .

In any event, I am not sure what is wrong with holding a claim sale at the same time as somebody else? The fact of the matter is they are competitors for sales and dollars, and no competitor owes another competitor any type of fiduciary duties, although they cannot slander or lie about each other. But past that this is a free market system and they can hold sales whenever they want.

This was a bad take StickyGoose... Epic got caught on video stealing books and Danielle helped alerted the community that he was stealing. Those two things are not the same. You say you don't like the way it was handled by either of them because it should have been done in private? How can you be against publicly warning the community that someone is a thief when there is proof? Stealing is wrong regardless of how you feel about either party.
