Homemade centerpin fishing reel made from a PVC drainpipe

My first attempt to build a Centerpin reel for float fishing from an old PVC drain pipe. I did it without any blue prints or plans. Just templates I made myself from paper. I only used simple everyday tools and lying around parts and materials. I didn´t spend any money. Anyone who likes a challenge can do it and even improve on it. It was great fun to eventually catch fish with it.

I used a some stainless steel wire I had lying around. 1,2 mm thick. The wire is quite hard and spring loaded.
