Friends of our recently rode the Pine Creek rail Trail. After their review, my wife and I are planning our own trip in October. Glad to stumble on your channel. Lots of great information. We’re just in the planning stages at the moment but from your content, we may revise our itinerary. Great videos, new subscriber. 👍
You’ll love it. Such a beautiful trail. Please feel free to reach out if you have questions. I’m just one person (with opinions) but I’d be glad to help.
Have fun! Just curious: when you say the name of the campground, do you sing it like the theme song? Because I do. Every time. 😂 th-cam.com/video/XRhi8Tk9nNE/w-d-xo.html
you might even get some early fall colors in late September. I rode through the northern section a few years back during that same time and it was magnificent. enjoy!
Thanks Bryan. I think this is also my favorite trail of all that you have shared. The views and scenes are really over the top for PA. You didn't mention why you didn't ride the whole thing. 🌞 Gord
Glad you enjoyed it! Lol…yeah, this was a last minute addition and I had two days to add so I figured it would do the northern section since I usually ride the southern part. Thanks, as always, for watching Gord!
@@RideAlongAdventures Thanks Bryan... I enjoy these individual trips rather than having them all linked together. Each one is it's own adventure with it's own commentary.👍 Gord
Another wonderful video, I just happen to come across one of your videos and now I’m hooked. I have plenty more to watch. I’m hoping to retire myself at the end of this year and this trail going on the list. Quick question: have you ever been to Michigan and rode any of our trails?Did my first big ride last June from Lake Erie to Lake Michigan and loved it.
Awesome! Thank you! I’m always open for recommendations-where do you suggest going in Michigan? I rode up in Petosky many many years ago. And Mackinaw Island. Not touring.
Where would you recommend parking in Jersey Shore. I'm staying at Petticoat Junction Campground for 2 nights. I love your posts. You've inspired me to get out there and just do it. Keep up the great work!
Bryan this Bobby G again and thanks for answering my last? I haven’t seen or might not ever, but do you ever intend on doing the Couer d’Alenes that you can ALSO hookup and do a gorgeous loop trail with the Hiawatha. I mean man,it looks so scenic on steroids 🤷♂️🚴♂️
Good Morning! Traveler to traveler….my wife and I flight out this afternoon to Lisbon,Portugal. We will be in Europe for close to month. And ONE of the adventures my wife planed is a beautiful (Guided of course😂) E-Bike tour that I’m hoping will be awesome. I mean guided with SAG vehicle along….how bad could it be seeing Tuscany that way. You only live once and ur DEAD a long time🤷♂️
Just rode the whole trail this week. Great video , new subscriber! I think we have the same bike. (Checkpoint ALR5) How did you get a 1 night booking at PC JUNCTION?
Thanks for the sub! You know, I honestly don’t know. Someone else pointed that out and I didn’t realize it. I booked online and it didn’t reject my reservation so…that’s it. I love the ALR5. Just a great all around ride.

Hello my friend! Like most if not all ur videos,I enjoyed this very much. So,a quick question. Is THIS trial one you recome d for FALL Color bike ride which my wife enjoy very much. We are Floridians which is a state I know u love,BUT we enjoy getting out of the heat for a change. So,is there another trail BESIDES the PCT?
Thanks for watching, Bobby. I'm glad you enjoy the vids. There are A LOT of rail trails in Pennsylvania including the PCRT. The other biggie is the GAP which is about double the length.
Thank you for ur reply. The GAP AND the Katy trail are defiantly on my bucket list. The only thing that has kept me from them SO far are the so many beautiful trails right here in the Sunshine state that I’ve yet to ride. That being said….thanks again for ur time, more than helpful hints on the do’s and don’ts while riding ANY trail. Truly helpful. Stay well🚴♂️
Great Video Bryan. So this seems like a ride I could pull off. So you only did about 30 so miles, stopping about midway on the trail? Stayed at the campground & went back? That seems doable for myself. Plus I like the whole glamping thing. I’m not really a camper & it’s like having a little room. So I looked at that campground’s website & they state a 3 day minimum. Did they make an exception for you? Nonetheless, great adventure sir!
Yeah, I think it was just about 35. Lots to enjoy along the way. So with regards to the reservation, I really don’t know. I did it online and the system accepted it. The glamping was very cool. Super great night of sleep.
My go to is a trek checkpoint alr5 but I occasionally ride a Farley 5 fat bike (just for fun). I love the checkpoint. Once I got the saddle situated (a Brooks b-17), it has been near perfect.

We need a "Hiking Man" annual event ; for hikers , bikers , RVers , climbers , campers , etc. , etc. , etc. to rival the 'burning man' !!!! Do you think you can can help get an annual gathering started !!!!???? Oh , the stories that will be told !!!!

On my Bucket list.. Glamping looks like fun⛺️
That’s a great campground. Super nice folks.
Excellent video. That trail looks beautiful.
It really is!
Beautiful video. We rode this trail in three segments out and backs on our three month summer trip. So total 124 miles. Just fantastic.
Congrats! That’s a great ride. Thanks for watching.
Great job. We are going back to Petticoat Junction campground in August.

There’s a parking lot at the beginning of the trail. Totally safe. I’ve left my car for 3 days one time. That campground is my favorite. Enjoy!! 👍🏻

Perfect. Thanks!
Stay at Cedar Run Inn…. Split the trail into two days. Cedar Run north and back for 1 day and Cedar Run south and back day 2.
Thanks for the tips! I'm assuming you've stayed there? how did you like it?
I like the video makes me think I when on the trips.
Glad you enjoy the videos!

I’m new to this. What’s the deal? Is this a super app? I’ve seen the paper copies at different places. Thanks in advance.

Thanks for the info. Great trail.
This one is going on the retirement plan list!
Yeah, it’s a trail I just go back to over and over again. Never gets old. Uniquely beautiful.
Okay Bryan, how do you get those shots like someone is riding in front of you? I think you were solo on this ride. Is it a drone?
It’s an Insta360 camera. The software edits out the selfie stick. Sometimes if you look at my hand, you can see the end of the stick.

That is awesome! You’re going to have a great time.
I am going to do about60-70 don’t think I want to do 130
yeah, the trail is perfect for that. Also, good trail signage to know how many you've done if you want to go out and back.

Awesome idea. I’m on my way to RAGBRAI today…it feels like a cycling burning man. Sort of.
