Hi there. I wasn’t able to make sawdust fest. Unfortunately work has been insanely busy the past few weeks. I should be heading out to do some riding and camping the weekend of the 8th-10th. Thanks for watching the video. I appreciate you taking the time to comment.
Thanks so much. I actually just got home from a week in Florida. I rode 4 different trails. I’m busy editing and will have the first episode out on Sunday night. Appreciate the kind words.
Great Job Steve! Sixty two miles is a great accomplishment. My wife and I are starting to ride again after a 30 year gap. We discovered the rail trails in Indiana which is a game change since we don't want to mix it up with cars on the road. However, we still haven't worked our way up to sixty miles. so I am envious of your accomplishment. Tell us a little about your bicycle on your net adventure. I'm always interested in what others are riding and learning how it is working for them.
Thanks so much. I’m glad to hear you both have rediscovered cycling. I know it’s made such a positive impact on both my physical and mental health. Keep at it and before you know it your miles start adding up. There is something very special about seeing the world at 10 miles per hour. I love the idea of talking about what bike I use and why. Thanks for the suggestion and thanks so much for watching!!! Hope to see you out on the trail one day.
Hi, Steve. Looks like a great day for riding, and 62 miles is still a huge accomplishment! I've been to Wellsboro a couple of times on my motorcycle, but it looks like a bicycle trip is also more than warranted. I'll have to make that happen soon. Take care and keep on rolling!
Hi and welcome to the channel. Wellsboro is a great little town, as are all the others in the entire Pine Creek Valley. I’m on that trail often, if you decide on a bike ride, give me a shout and I’ll be glad to show you the area. Thanks for watching.
Hi Steve, I just did the Wellsboro to Slate Run on 9/16/23. What was the date of this ride? It seems to me that there has been quite a change in the colors. This trail is pretty special.
hello Steve! Great video! I am a resident along the Pine Creek Rail Trail so I'm fortunate to ride here often after migrating to the area from North Carolina specifically for this trail. The stability of your camera/noise cancellation surprised me! What microphone setup did you decide to go with or is it the dji microphone? 62 miles, no matter how they come is a huge accomplishment. I can't wait to watch your century in the future. Stay safe and happy riding! Thank you for the video!
Thanks for the kind words. You are so lucky to live along the trail. It’s been a goal of ours to find a place out there to semi-retire to. The camera I use now is the DJI Osmo Action 4. However I use a lesser known microphone. It’s the Fulaim X5. So far no issues with it and great sound. The noise cancellation is really just the “dead cat” furry microphone cover. a.co/d/aDR3HZq Thanks so much for watching. Hope to see you on the trail one day soon. We will most likely be at the Sawdust Festival in Waterville on May 4th.
Steve you are a wimp. Just kidding I am glad you listened to your body. That is something a year later after a heart attack & you rode 62 miles. Thanks for sharing your video I enjoyed it
Hey Steve 62 miles is great . Consider it a building point . Next time do 72 , 82 ,etc . Let the miles come to you . Remember what I told you plenty of water snacks etc . Somewhere in those kind of rides you have to eat eat . Gatorade or something is important . Safe rides .
Thanks for the great advice. I really appreciate you watching. You were serious when you said “binge watching”. I noticed the fire truck says Chicago. Is that where you’re from?
Good job👍😎🇫🇷
Thanks so much for watching!
good vibes steve. hope to see you at the sawdust fest!

Yes it was 9/16. It’s a very special trail indeed. Thanks so much for watching. Change in colors as in the leaves changing?

I have learned some very valuable lessons since my heart attack. One is that it’s ok to “wimp” out when necessary. lol. Thanks so much for watching!
