Why they attack the cops in the first place? Trust me when I tell you that these young wannabe rioters are lucky the Gards are truly soft. I already told you but I tell you again if you do that in France or Spain, you don't go to Police Station, you will be carried straight to a hospital. Of course you have to defend your rights but using your brains. The cops are there to prevent violence and what they find? stones and rubbish. Large groups of migrants moving in all at once with no jobs, no integration action plan or resources to keep them active causes issues & potential outbursts of anger, crime & worse. Some many people don't feel listened to by our gov. This has to change.

Thanks again as always love and respect from county Kerry. My own hometown of tralee is a ghetto it was never a very pleasant place but my god now its unrecognizable. My dad almost got mugged in the park a few months ago walking the dog he is in his 60s with heart condition and he looks frail god bless him only an absolute scum would try to harm him. 2 foreign lads approached him telling him shut up money money give phone give money and he started shouting and swinging the stick at them and fortunately another couple of local lads ran over and the scum took off. My dad is not used to being frail from his heart and still thinks he can go like in his 20s or 30s. He is a hard man but in his condition it would have being childs play for them to hurt him tho he wouldn't go down without a fight. Never before had he ever problems in that park all the local lads know him and would never harm him even the cheeky ones. My own father who fears nobody now cant walk the dog in his own town anymore as my sister and myself made him promise not to go there anymore. Ive thankfully moved 20 odd km out the road and it reminds me of how my town used to be. All Irish going about there days all walking with purpose you dont really see people just hanging about in groups. The feeling of safety and tranquility as i walk along the river knowing im safe and no harm will come to me and my misses... the feeling brings a tear to my eye tho its beautiful i know my children and many others will never feel that same feeling I have here. I know many all over our once beautiful island feel like my dad now and the fear from there children of will my stubborn mom or dad be safe going anywhere. The town i am in now will probably be changed too soon but for now i savour every moment there and grieve for the places lost to this madness. Our once beautiful safe island where all the bad things seemed a million miles away now has those things on our very doorstep and it fills me with so much grief and anger there are days when i feel like i should do something id regret. I am a senior citizens in my youth we have never been afraid, your dad may related to the time we were out all day and our parents never worried as they knew when we were hungry we would appear. I watched a documentary about this and one immigrant said they gave him his PPS number and put the man onto the streets, they made him homeless. So not only does the Irish government have an extreme lack of care with the Irish but also the immigrants they're bringing over here too, if they're going to treat them like that, then what's the point? Thanks again as always love and respect from county Kerry. My own hometown of tralee is a ghetto it was never a very pleasant place but my god now its unrecognizable. My dad almost got mugged in the park a few months ago walking the dog he is in his 60s with heart condition and he looks frail god bless him only an absolute scum would try to harm him. 2 foreign lads approached him telling him shut up money money give phone give money and he started shouting and swinging the stick at them and fortunately another couple of local lads ran over and the scum took off. My dad is not used to being frail from his heart and still thinks he can go like in his 20s or 30s. He is a hard man but in his condition it would have being childs play for them to hurt him tho he wouldn't go down without a fight. Never before had he ever problems in that park all the local lads know him and would never harm him even the cheeky ones. My own father who fears nobody now cant walk the dog in his own town anymore as my sister and myself made him promise not to go there anymore. Ive thankfully moved 20 odd km out the road and it reminds me of how my town used to be. All Irish going about there days all walking with purpose you dont really see people just hanging about in groups. The feeling of safety and tranquility as i walk along the river knowing im safe and no harm will come to me and my misses... the feeling brings a tear to my eye tho its beautiful i know my children and many others will never feel that same feeling I have here. I know many all over our once beautiful island feel like my dad now and the fear from there children of will my stubborn mom or dad be safe going anywhere. The town i am in now will probably be changed too soon but for now i savour every moment there and grieve for the places lost to this madness. Our once beautiful safe island where all the bad things seemed a million miles away now has those things on our very doorstep and it fills me with so much grief and anger there are days when i feel like i should do something id regret. Anyway sorry for the rant and God bless. I know you all feel the same sadly. Erin go brach.... be safe all.

So sorry for your Dad and yourself, it breaks my heart to hear this. I am a senior citizens in my youth we have never been afraid, your dad may related to the time we were out all day and our parents never worried as they knew when we were hungry we would appear. Its against our nature at this time in our lives to have this. The mind is willing to fight back but sadly our bodies can't, these criminal are targeting the vulnerable. This government doesn't care, this is why people power in protests is the only safe way to go. People shouldn't be hurt because of governments failures , its not the people fault. It doesn't affect them, they get their very large salaries no matter what way they have the country and their families are safe, these people are not around their areas.

The government should fine the ferry companies 10,000 euro for every illegal they let onto the ferry without an Irish, UK or EU passport, or visas or IRP status (eg, Stamp 4). Anybody who does not have the right to be here cannot enter. Ferry companies would soon stop letting them in.

A few years ago our government with the help of the Garda kicked our Irish homeless out of Apollo house in Dublin city when they had nowhere to live and on to the streets, fast forward a few years and they are still treating us like dirt and the so called Garda are beating up there own and the government housing refugees that we no nothing about, but we will keep fighting till we take back our streets,everyone fighting and protesting are the real heroes,keep up the great work.

I watched a documentary about this and one immigrant said they gave him his PPS number and put the man onto the streets, they made him homeless. So not only does the Irish government have an extreme lack of care with the Irish but also the immigrants they're bringing over here too, if they're going to treat them like that, then what's the point?
Also a big thanks to Bogtrotter for showing what's really going on. I laughed out loud when I saw RTE reporting it from the guarda station the day of the riot.
