1:08:43 it is very strange, that with baptism and other things of the faith, that so many people want to take the exception, or even something that is unheard of or contrary to the faith , and turn it into a rule.

9:20 indeed, often people use the carnal eyes which are for seeking out the passions to look at spiritual truth and the truth in many ways is locked away from their perception, they feel upset by the ethos of christ because of their assimilation to the false joy / goodness of carnality. Carnality is inherently fallen, rising up out of that depth of spiritual blindness requires war against all the passions in general. Then with correction we learn the true joy of the Christian way truth and life, we acquire a taste for those higher objectives and then we find ourselves with a chasm of difference with people who are attached to the world, obedient to the flesh, worshipping the flesh. We enjoy their reviling of our way of thinking and living, instead of reciprocating and becoming passion-slaves as well, the joy of the cross annihilates all the schemes of the devil to assail us from spiritual balance/correction/stability/momentum (like gust winds knocking a car about on the freeway). We fear God but we also partake in His own very joy of His Will being carried out, this is a schizophrenic thing from a worldly stance, but what is really schizoid is a spiritually unexamined life, everything is just meaningless fun then you die and vapourize into eternal nihility. So the Christian is really the sane one, the happy one, etc, but from the outside their life seems like a sojourn to hell from the external viewpoint...

I always had problem with enlightening my spiritual eyes, I used to look at Christianity with my physical eyes because of my sins.

This video buries any notion that Orthodox baptism is not completely essential in Holy Tradition... we cant understand or reach Christ without it...

I used to like this priest, but as time goes on and I learn more about Orthodoxy - no wonder he has been rejected by the Church. His ego, vanity, and arrogance and his snarky condemnation of others who have another opinion -- does not reflect well on the Orthodox Church. To sum up his POV, we aren't to worship Jesus; we are to worship the Church and his opinion. Praise God, not The Priests.

Everything you are blaming him for is a false accusation. And especially the biggest of all these accusations is false: He hasn’t been rejected by the church.

Can you give an exemple of « those who have another opinion »

And, this guy jugdging Fr. Peter is also condemning himself as a false witness. If you only knew that Fr. Peter is a true Christian, loving, and forgiving. He's a father, a husband, and a son laboring for Christ and His One True Church. What he teaches is not of his own opinion or man-made.
      Lord have mercy!

With LESS than 17 verses in the BIBLE on the CHILDHOOD of JESUS you MUST be PURELY SPECULATING on the majority of that part of your lesson. And OF COURSE ALL that SPECULATING comes from COMPLETELY UNINSPIRED WRITINGS.

This is not speculation. It's something called tradition.

The Orthodox Church, being the historic and True Church of God, have inspired and reliable records. The Orthodox Church also decided which books are to be included in the New Testament.

What an ignorant and cheap comment. May God enlighten your utter darkness and lack of knowledge.

@@StefTrifan Yep, just like the PHARISEES that JESUS told you use the TRADITIONS of MEN to nullify the WORD OF GOD.

@@saka2456 Well GOD WILL enlighten, BUT THROUGH HIS WORD. It's not IGNORANT it's BASED on the WORD OF GOD and not the WRITINGS OF FALLEN MEN. You guys ALWAYS PUT MORE STOCK in the writings of the CHURCH FATHERS who were SINNERS SAVED BY the GRACE OF GOD, JUST LIKE MARY WAS. I BELIEVE ITS IGNORANT TO WORSHIP IDOLS WHEN THE WORD OF GOD CLEARLY SPEAKS AGAINST IT BUT THAT OK, Y'ALL DONT CZRE WHAT GOD SAID AS LONG AS YOU HAVE THOSE TRADITIONS OF M-E-N.
