I see this as a movie for the fans they obviously were trying to branch out to wider audiences but I think that won’t work as some parts I can see as confusing for someone who knows little to nothing about FNAF from a standpoint as a fan of the franchise I give it a 8.5/10 but if I knew nothing bout FNAF it would be a 4 or a 5 but regardless I had a Funtime with the movie
I think the title is too general to bring your point over. Most people consider the film good overall and might take it too seriously. The film is not a horror but a thriller so thats why most people say it isnt scary. The story tries to take itself seriously and thats why it might appear as dull to some. In the end what im trying to say is i dont really agree with your rating but i understand your points
I think more people need to watch this movie the way I did. Ignore the games and just watch the movie its good. But if you try to over analyze and overthink it will be bad. It's a classic blumhouse horror movie and that how you should watch it. Fnaf was never going to make everyone happy but stop hating so much you guys are looking for somthing that will never happen. A movie continuing the story of the games is impossible.
While I can definitely see the value of approaching the film as just another Blumhouse production, I still think it ranks low even by that measure. At least much lower than other recent movies like M3GAN or The Black Phone.

Eh I liked it

That makes sense I guess. But I'm glad you ultimately enjoyed the movie.

Fair enough. And I'm definitely glad most of the fandom think the movie was great or at least good enough.

it is a good movie, stop crying and complaining
a video game and a movie cant be 1 to 1 similar
You're right that it can't be 1 to 1 with the games. That doesn't excuse it from delivering on the basics of a horror film though.
Did bro comment without watching the actual video or what
@@Rakool Lol. Apparently.
