The dvd at 5:25 is the one I still own. The audio on it is just brilliant and it also comes with the making of T2 3D which was the 3D show at universal studios Florida. Me and my Mrs saw it when we went to Florida for our Honeymoon in 2010 🙂
Terminator VHS tin set looked cool. The tin DVD set was huge seller. I made a lot of money with it! If I remember right it was the 1dt tin set available (at least on major movies). Oh, Anchor Bay had some limited horror tins in states before T2.
Klaus Jansen was the artist of the T2 comic. He used to be an inker for Frank Miller. So his style isn’t dis-similar ( but far worse ) 😂 Used to have the big VHS tin thing back in the day also. And the one with the Lenticular on it
4:38 Technically it’s an American release, but it has the Canadian 14A rating sticker on the back and there is another sticker that says it’s manufactured by Alliance Atlantis which is a Canadian company.
Although I had a laserdisc player at the time (and still have it!) I never got round to picking up the UK Pioneer laserdisc, despite it being the only home video version in the UK at the time of its release to be uncut and upgraded to 18. Might see if I can find a cheap EBay copy!
Anyone that says am obsessed with Terminator (espesh T2), am just gunna show em this and say, nah, I'm normal compared to this guy 🤣 All i have is 4 versions of T2, some neca figures (still sealed) and some darkhorse published comics (also still sealed). Oh, and a few books. I do want the goblet and a bust tho, and would love full size T-800 in corner of my room. I need that spoof single 😅 Also to look out for, is a special edition Commodore Format Terminator 2 magazine. It was packed in with the c64 (terminator edition - the box is nice too) I have no idea how many were published, but I reckon not many have survived as it were basically a playthrough guide, 16 pages long. Nearly forgot about having that. Edit: added cformat bit.
Look at it this way, VT. At least you'll have the original Mono soundtrack untouched on VHS retail tape, compared to the A.I. enhanced nightmare with over processed Mono soundtrack.
The VHS at 2:16, isn't that the original and not the sequel?
100% correct somehow I put it in the wrong pile
The amount of money I've spent buying T2 on it's various formats over the years I think I could fund a new Terminator movie on my own.
Looking at what I very little of it was bought new so the studio got only a few dollars
You ever wonder what the optical read out looks like for the T-1000 models? I do all the time
I do now

I have a Evil Dead II tin box too
@@VideoTasties Anchor Bay US boxes were ED2, Hellraiser and Maniac id remember right. Those sold quickly.
That’s a very nice collection.
Thanks
I’ve read the book a few times, goes into a lot more detail
Good to know, thanks

@ Because you wanted to 👌
Buyers remorse 😅. Nice Collection 👌 👍
The DVD from Canada contains the original sound mix of the film. It’s only on that and a laserdisc from 98.
Shame it's not on the 4K

true but there is a reason to try and tart it up
@VideoTasties Revisionism VT. The past must be erased....
All those variants are pointless and VHS/Records/Laserdiscs suck in the modern era!!
