I don't know why, but in every this kind of aria of Handel I hear Farinelli, I feel his soul, I sense his breath... maybe I'm too into Farinelli himself or maybe I'm too into Farinelli through Handel, but to me personally, the divine joint of these two outstanding persons in Art has shew what a true immortality of soul means and what is the Greatest Power of Music is capable of!🙏🏻💛😌 Thank you so much, Dear Jeffrey❤️🌹🌷💐

It's actually quite difficult to find art depicting men, and so I never knew what to pair with arias for male characters, like this one. Then, I discovered the photography of Kyle Thompson, and his work fit the bill perfectly. I find his photographs to be very evocative, and there is often a sense of melancholy that pervades them. I love his work, and I think these images pair beautifully with the music.
