I've no idea about your driving habits, but according to the BMW app, I'm getting an average of 54.4 mpg from mine 118i. And I use Super Unleaded fuel, mainly driven in Comfort mode
If you keep it in Eco pro in my experience I get 47mpg to 54mpg. Depending on how aggressive you drive or if you keep it in sport you will find mpg is 30 - 35mpg

Hey, I think you’ll find modern cars are programmed to run rich for about the first 10,000miles, most likely the car will then get more and more economical and optimise at 20,000miles. You can’t therefore compare to a 6 year old car, wait and see…
MPG talk actually starts at 5:26. 28-34 MPG depending on driving style.
A3 and Golf which I drive have a 50 litre fuel tank whereas this has a 42 litre tank as standard. Therefore total range will be lower.

I'm getting 32 avg out of my m135i x drive 2023 model always fill with high octane fuel ...50 litre tank on the 135.....
Can easily achieve 40+ MPG, just the way you drive mate
