IMPORTANT EDIT: Follow the video up to the PC part then download the '.json' file on the drive and, in Koala, go to Settings - Extras - MIDI Map - import and then just follow the cheat sheet
You’re hot! Sheesh. Thank you for the work you’ve done. I will have to grab one of these controllers to see if it suites me. I just returned a launchpad mini mk3 and x because I was looking for a controller specifically for koala, but decided against those. Cool beat at the end too.
@@josephpaul8911 i highly recommend it! The pads aren't the most precise ever but they don't double-register ever, which is great (i avoided the pads on my Axiom Air 32). They also have aftertouch, which is useless for Koala but work amazing on a DAW! Bluetooth is an absolute game changer, and using it wired cuts about 10ms (at best), so there's that :) Also, the song by the end has a full version! th-cam.com/video/m21qPJwbvEo/w-d-xo.htmlsi=FAuPZXEZUWKQ-wDT
@ so an issue I had with mapping the start and end point of sample, and also with volume and panning, when I’d adjust a sample, then switch to another pad/sample, when I’d try to adjust that sample, the knob would jump to the same position as the previous sample/pad, making it a pita to use. Was I not doing it correctly? Is there a certain setting that I am unaware of? I appreciate you helping us. You rock!
Hi Nicole, sorry for the inconvenience, I wanted to ask you something, my cell phone is Android and to produce I use the BandLab application, the only thing I would need to use this M-VAVE SMC would be to download the midi connector application and configure it? greetings from Argentina
BandLab doesn't allow you to map midi to anything and I couldn't get the SMC Pad to work on it even though it's selected on the settings. No amount of menu diving or settings tweaking allowed me to get an output on it. If you're after a DAW on Android, I'd go for FL Studio Mobile, as it allows way more flexibility, though it also doesn't work out of the box and it's a bit of a pain in the ass to configure. Also, for FL Studio I'd recommend an SMK-25 or something with keys. Koala, as far as I can tell, is the most intuitive, ready-to-create app out there.
