ive seen a lot of prosekai vocal rankings but the most popular opinions are having emu near the bottom, which i dont really understand. i just dont get how people think emus vocals are boring/annoying, she’s all you can hear or whatever. to me her vocals are what makes the wxs songs “wxs songs”. also, to me its honestly super hard to hit high notes especially in a higher pitched voice without using falsetto too much, and thats really unique. i really think emus va deserves more credit for being able to do that. if it was me id rank her somewhere in C at the very least, but just not in the very (second) bottom. overall nice video though! i really enjoyed watching this! My top 3 has gotta be Rui, Mafuyu, and Akito lol, I really love Akito’s voice for some reason and own every single cover of his ingame (I swear I’m not crazy)

I really agree on Haruka’s, her voice is beautiful but I feel like a lot of covers they get don’t show off how amazing her voice is. She doesn’t sound bad by any means but there are only a handful of moments where she stands out. I want more amazing Haruka vocal moments like If, Shoujo Rei, and Darling Dance (I don’t like the Darling Dance Cover but Haruka carried) Also as for Mizuki’s gender, they are heavily implied to be transfem. But using either she or they pronouns are ok…just no he/him

The reason we can’t call Mizuki a man is because it is disrespectful to the transgender community, if Mizuki happens to be Transfem.

My top unbiased top 5 have to be: #1:Mizuki (Their voice is just so powerful and can switch so easily) #2:Shizuku (Romeo and Cinderella, Milk Crow on Sonechka speaks for itself) #3:Shiho (Her Peaky Peaky Cover? She seems more of the back up vocals though) #4:Nene (I absolutely adore her Kami no Mani Mani cover and I agree she can get to nasally) #5:Mafuyu (She can switch up between soft and strong so well, but whenever her voice is soft, it doesn’t stand out too well. Still, it sounds good)
Are you saying Shiho's Peaky Peaky cover is bad or good? Because from a long time Shiho fan (fave character), I have every single one of her covers and I can confidently say, Peaky Peaky is her worst cover. I'm sorry, I dont think any of the Peaky Peaky solo covers are that good, it will just never match to the awesomeness of the original! It may be different for the VS's, but overall I believe the original is best!
i think the main reason tsukasa sings in a lower key in his NEO alt vocal is just not to strain his va's voice, as the original key is pretty high. so its ok when he sings the higher notes for a bit in the group cover but the full thing that high could damage his vocal chords. he slays it either way tho icl, and he's one of my least fave characters lol :))
as someone who does sing, oh boy. i have a lot to talk about. first off, the title's somewhat misleading. when i read "ranking vocals", i thought the creator literally meant rating the voice itself without personal preferences - which is why i feel like the list is somewhat skewed and doesn't really share the clearest testament. i'm surprised honami wasn't lower on the list. while it isn't as prevalent now, honami always had this instability in her voice and her intonation isn't the best (you do need a bit of a criticizing ear haha). you can see what i mean by listening to honami's stella cover. i also think mafuyu should be lower. and i *mean* lower (pun not intended) - she shares similar issues with honami: she can most definitely sing soft notes. but hard notes is where shit goes completely haywire. to make the most literal comparison possible, it sounds like she's trying to take a shit after eating taco bell for the past seven days. her intonation's more noticeable by ear in comparison to honami's, but that's because it's when she belts that her vocals go all wrong. rui should *not* be this low. i personally consider akito to have the best male voice, but akito rly only won by a smidge simply because he is my bias. rui to me is that good. he has incredible control and is always completely on tune. it saddens me greatly that he doesn't have much spotlight in comparison to the other members outside of his focus songs. for saki, this'll be the time where i think the reasoning for her ranking is absolute bull. yes, she doesn't have many lines. but you cannot just rate her lower simply because you don't hear her much. this is really the only thing about the video that infuriated me. the an slander 😭 while all proseka ocs have great ranges, what separates an from the rest is her ability to control notes at lower ranges. for female singers, this is extremely difficult to do. many are predisposed to talking in their head voice and not their chest voice, hence they aren't able to quite understand how to control their chest voice. an does it perfectly. ena's voice is great, however she isn't the best. it isn't that she's bad at any particular category, there's simply others who do it *better* (i.e. Mizuki, Rui).
Finally someone who rated them nicely! Even our opinions are different but I agreed on your perspective. Their vocals are incredible! Especially the fact that the VAs have to sing in characters 😭

Tsukasa being #20 made my heart hurt…😞Hirose Daisuke (Tsukasa’s VA) Actually sings like that on the regular, if you listen too his cover’s, He just adjusts his voice a lil to make it sound more like Tsukasa! Personally I love his voice…so as a Tsukasa fan, seeing him being the lowest on your tier list makes me cry- T_T (Also even though I’m not much of a fan of where you put some characters in this tier list, it was still a nice to see some good opinions on some.🙏)

Although I love Emu’s vocals, I do find the singing high pitched all the time can get repetitive and even bad when it’s in deeper songs (especially Love Ka) Her voice (in my opinion) tends to stick out too much, which can be distracting sometimes BUT I do love her voice acting outside of songs, and also her voice definitely fits with more of the higher pitched exciting songs like Niccori Survey Team
Yeah, she's not as strong in game as I think her VA has the potential to let that be, again because the game devs want her to sing higher than the other guys. As an actual singer outside of the game, her VA's probably a better singer.

For me ill put shizuku at 3rd ena at 2 and mizuki for one Shizuku-for me when singing all together the mmj group her voice is not very standing but when its her covers its very soothing Ena-she almost has the same vocals as mizuki she has a strong voice that really stands out when group sings all together Mizuki-when she sings its very strong and high you could tell that when the group sings all together its very high with ena it almost feels that she was the only one singing with great control even when its a low note its still very strong

Her singing skills are just so good and her voice is just beautiful! But I am not so sure with with your ranking of Mafuyu. I think it is really cool that her voice can change depends on the song, and most of all, she is REALLY REALLY GREAT ON PUTTING AN EMOTION TO THE SONG. i was slightly confused by the way you ranked each character, like was it based on solo-performance or their performance within the group? i think if you said which way you ranked it, the ranking would make sense, like for example: i can understand why you would put tsukasa low based on SOLO performance, but his performance within the group is a lot better. or with minori, she was still low but it seemed you ranked her based more on solo performance, which was why she was above airi. js smth for though in case you decide to re-do this video, i did really enjoy it!! :)
You are actually so real for this, I feel a lot of people overrate Tsukasas vocals due to him being one of their favourite characters instead of judging his vocals from actual singing skill (no hate to his VA of course he is still extremely talented)
(spoiler for the vid lol + my opinions that might be changed later) -As for Toya, maybe his voice is not the best in group for me but overall he's still good! Ito Kent is a great singer, really. But i still can't get used to his voice when he's in group, but when he's solo or with Akito, he's really great. But again, maybe i just think VBS are very lacking in terms of harmony bc their voices are quite clashing imo. Bad Dogs and Vivids are great, but as VBS... idk... (still one of the great units when it comes to stories though) -You made me realize how nice honami's voice is, would listen to her solos more -Ena #1 yes Yes YES!!! 🔥🔥🔥
I love Mizuki's voice actor for the voice she gave to this character. it sounds both girlish and boyish, so you may argue about their gender a lot.))) the strength, the technique, the vocal range, the emotions.... all of these characteristics are about both Mizuki and Ena, and I really love them singing together. I recently played " I nandesu" in proseka AND YOU KNOW WHAT???? THE WAY MIZUKI SOUNDS THERE IS SO DEEP AND LOW, JUST NO WAY and Ena sounds much higher than Mizuki, so they create a great ta(o)ndem(o wonderz-) (sorry) and I really agree with the tier list, even if I dislike Minori and Akito singing a lot :") idk Minori sounds too sweet for me and I just don't like Akito lol. alsoooo I think that WxS is not about singing as well, their group is about amazing shows (oh wow thank you for opening our eyes, comment author) they put on the dance, special effects, the costumes that's definitely not about only singing, but creating a whole big show to amaze everyone and make them believe in wonders of the world so I'm not disappointed in Tsukaka being #20, his voice actor might not be a singer, but an ultimate actor as well lol tbh there's a lot to talk about every character and the way they sing, and even this as long as "that-one-long-haired-Tsukasa-skin" hair commentary isn't enough to describe all my feelings and thoughts so uh the moral of this tale is that everyone is good in their way so everyone has a song where they sound hella good p.s. sorry for my bad English
this is saur gooddd, i agree sm w ena and shizuku vocals hfhfvhv, but i would say kohanes parts in the meltdown archive shows she has potential to be top 5 but she is restricted by the voice directing of her character.
i cannot BELIEVE saki was that low, she has an incredibly ranged and strong voice and her cover of awaiting clear skies is arguably the best cover in the entire game

Honestly a lot of your opinions match with mine. The only comments I would add are: Tsukasa: obviously he sings a bit different in his solo because of the pitch down (he probably had to record a whole other take for the cover), but honestly I don’t think there was anything wrong with it. On the contrary, I thought it was good that they pitched him down because that high note in the chorus would’ve been impossible in the original key lol Saki (and also kind of Tsukasa lol): the Tenma siblings tend to be much more unstable in terms of holding notes while singing, and that’s kind of their specialty. For some songs like Tera Tera and Nonsense Bungaku this works, but this also generally puts them on the lower end of vocalists for most people because they’re much more inconsistent An: does she have great control? I’ve always thought that An as a vocalist tends to struggle in faster paced songs (mostly I mean songs like Bring It On, but that’s basically the only song of that variety that she covers in-game) Nene: I feel like everyone knows this already, but Nene’s VA is a certified singer! She even sang the Konosuba OPs. Nene’s also a diva/songstress, so it makes sense that her singing voice would be so outstanding. Toya: can we talk about VBS Archives Dramaturgy together. that cover changed my life omg. Also Toya’s VA’s range is actually insane because if you’ve ever seen Hypmic you’d know Mafuyu: imo Mafuyu tends to use a lot of sobbing tone (idk I first looked it up in Chinese and that’s what it told me the English translation was) when her voice goes powerful and it gives her voice a lot of emotional weight but is also quite unhealthy. Also considering your placement of Kanade this doesn’t apply to you, but I personally greatly dislike sobbing tone and especially in the way that Mafuyu uses it. Ichika: FINALLY SOMEONE WHO UNDERSTANDS :D I love the darker mature tone in her voice compared to a lot of other characters tbh Shizuku: real because of that list of comments that runs off the screen, but also the light airiness in her voice that somehow doesn’t detract from her power??? she’s absolutely one of the most unique vocalists in the cast imo Ena: Minorin (Ena’s VA, not Minori the character lol) has released songs and covers of her own iirc, it makes sense that her technique would be top-notch. Belting is actually really dangerous for your throat and she executes it perfectly and in character how.
Finally, someone who's not dissing Honami! The amount of tier lists that put her in the last five for some reason do not appreciate that her voice is very much emotionally moving... besides most of your points do make sense and they were all chosen for the game for a reason... Pjsekai thought they were good singers for each of their characters, no? So really, most of the characters will be quite similar to each other in skill level
I highly agree with ur top 10 especially top 2 (shizuku😭❤ and ena appreciation) like omg, i was so shocked to see shizuku being in top 3 bc altho its not rare, normally when i see honami n kanade tgt or airi/haruka being low in other rankings, shizuku is often placed after them. I've seen ppl say so many things abt ena's vocals and especially shizuku's, like her voice being too soft (and yet they place honami and kanade higher than her) and has limited vocal range which I don't rly get but I'm also not one to judge either bc I too hv no singing background (but like i rly don't think she has limited range?? The high note in I am We are full version and milk crown A6??). Sorry for kinda ranting here but thank u so much for appreciating their vocals😭🥰❤

It's really good and i especially liked the bar at the bottom that signaled the end of the segments My own top 5 would be (not in order) and favorite alt vocal Honami (tale of the deep-sea lily) Kanade (IDsmile) Ena (I nandesu) Rui (love Ka?) Ichika (idk, her voice is just nice in general)
As someone who sings, I’d put Rui, Nene, Ena, Toya, Shiho, Kanade, and Saki on top. It’s not mentioned, but they sing with support. It’s diaphragmatic breathing, and more resonance is allowed into the voice, allowing more control and range. Also helps high notes better (bc u need to support high notes) and smooths out voice quality. I’m disappointed in Haruka, An, and Ichika. All do not sing with support. Haruka gets strained easily. Her character is being an idol for most of her life and she can barely do notes that can be EASILY sung with resonance, especially for her voice type. An sings with her chest/lungs. That accounts for lack of power. Singing from the diaphragm does give you more power, and since An has been singing a lot and VBS is based on vocal power, her voice could’ve been better to reflect it. Mentioned Toya at the top, yeah he perfectly represents VBS power; it helps that his vp was in Hypmic Mic. Ichika, same with Haruka. Girl, you’re the lead singer of Leo/Need and you sing worse than the rest of the members. I get that the VAs sing in character. If you can sing with support, you can totally sing in character.
My heart can't help but insult you for putting Tsukasa last, but my brain agrees with you :( Unfortunately, no matter how much of a Tsukasa fan I am, I have to agree that her songs are almost always 60/40, 60% likely to not sound harmonious and 40% likely to sound good (not incredible, just good). Although I suppose that we cannot demand so much from him, Emu and Minori, since they are basically "embodying" their characters, Tsukasa is someone who keeps shouting and "exaggerating", it is impossible to ask that he not do so in his songs. do, because he would stop being "himself", just like Emu and Minori. Emu is the same case as with Tsukasa, both are very energetic, in the case of Minori it is because even her design could be said to be "simple/common", so her voice is not usually something to highlight beyond be soft (although she is overshadowed by Haruka and Shizuku, or Airi who has a slightly more squeaky voice) Still, I'm really surprised by Ena, I feel like she does it well, but she doesn't have something to highlight like the others, in my opinion the other members of niigo are better (Mafuyu and Mizuki can do really thunderous voices, Kanade with her soft voice sometimes it will make your hair stand on end, while Ena... ?)
Shiho fan here, I agree with everything you said about her. She does fall slightly behind in her LoW cover, but I think her voice fits perfectly in all her other alt vocals
In my opinion, the best voice in the game is nene, her voice is so cute and unique i love it! The second one is mizuki, she is my fave character too. And then An and Akito, I guess their voice together are so nice and i love their alt too (Odo alt is just so good!!) The fifth one is Shiho's, I loved her voice since Bang dream when promise was released and Lisa had a focus in a roselia song.

YOU think like ME Personally, I like Mafuyu and Ena's vocals the most. I like Mafuyu because her voice is so emotional that she seems to cry all the time. When I listen to it, it gives me pain in my heart and goosebumps. However, Mafuyu's vocal is very specific to the group. People who like it will like it a lot. But people who don't like it won't like it at all (YEAH, I'm in a group that I really like :D) As for Ena, her vocal can be both high-pitched and low-pitched (although mostly higher-pitched). However, Ena's vocal is not specific to that group. Therefore it is easier to access. Personally, I like Mafuyu's vocal a bit more than Ena (because of the group I just mentioned), but overall the most mellow vocal is still Ena.
People early into the global server often hated on Ena, her voice, her character, everything! It is so nice to see her get appreciated like she deserves.
Hi! Vocalist here! And I would like to give my opinions! One thing that stood out was what you said about Shiho and Ichika, while their voices go really well together… Lost One’s Weeping was not a good example. I personally dislike their voices in that cover because they’re singing in different keys, which doesn’t help them sound like they’re actually harmonising together. Other than that I agree with everything! I think the only reason An sounds off in some songs is because they’re mostly covers, and An has a very specific voice range, so it makes her hard to sing those kinds of songs. Whereas with commissioned songs, the key and range is made with her in mind. Also, Mizuki is heavily implied Transfem, however the pjsk jp server website states that their gender is ‘?’. Mizuki also uses the pronouns “Boku” to refer to themself, which is considered more masculine however some tomboys will use it as well. Rui, when referring to Mizuki, uses “Kun” (Which is masc) at the end of their name but he does that to everyone, even Emu. In flashbacks, we can see Mizuki with shorter hair while wearing the more masc school uniform, and we have seen people comment about Mizuki’s outfit. In the global server, Mizuki is referred to with both she/her and they/them pronouns however it is unknown which one they preferably use. So, TLDR; Mizuki is heavily implied Transfem, but Non-Binary is also a possibility. Also the name Mizuki is gender-neutral. Anyways thanks for coming to my ted talk *Explodes*

Can't relate for the most parts, but I'm aware this is a personal preference and I like seeing other's point of view (preference), especially when they try to explain it like this. Though let me just say that while you can rank them from 1-20, all of them deserve to be in S tier.

I really agree on Haruka’s, her voice is beautiful but I feel like a lot of covers they get don’t show off how amazing her voice is. She doesn’t sound bad by any means but there are only a handful of moments where she stands out. I want more amazing Haruka vocal moments like If, Shoujo Rei, and Darling Dance (I don’t like the Darling Dance Cover but Haruka carried)
Also as for Mizuki’s gender, they are heavily implied to be transfem. But using either she or they pronouns are ok…just no he/him

i think the main reason tsukasa sings in a lower key in his NEO alt vocal is just not to strain his va's voice, as the original key is pretty high. so its ok when he sings the higher notes for a bit in the group cover but the full thing that high could damage his vocal chords. he slays it either way tho icl, and he's one of my least fave characters lol :))
as someone who does sing, oh boy. i have a lot to talk about.
first off, the title's somewhat misleading. when i read "ranking vocals", i thought the creator literally meant rating the voice itself without personal preferences - which is why i feel like the list is somewhat skewed and doesn't really share the clearest testament.
i'm surprised honami wasn't lower on the list. while it isn't as prevalent now, honami always had this instability in her voice and her intonation isn't the best (you do need a bit of a criticizing ear haha). you can see what i mean by listening to honami's stella cover.
i also think mafuyu should be lower. and i *mean* lower (pun not intended) - she shares similar issues with honami: she can most definitely sing soft notes. but hard notes is where shit goes completely haywire. to make the most literal comparison possible, it sounds like she's trying to take a shit after eating taco bell for the past seven days. her intonation's more noticeable by ear in comparison to honami's, but that's because it's when she belts that her vocals go all wrong.
rui should *not* be this low. i personally consider akito to have the best male voice, but akito rly only won by a smidge simply because he is my bias. rui to me is that good. he has incredible control and is always completely on tune. it saddens me greatly that he doesn't have much spotlight in comparison to the other members outside of his focus songs.
for saki, this'll be the time where i think the reasoning for her ranking is absolute bull. yes, she doesn't have many lines. but you cannot just rate her lower simply because you don't hear her much. this is really the only thing about the video that infuriated me.
the an slander 😭 while all proseka ocs have great ranges, what separates an from the rest is her ability to control notes at lower ranges. for female singers, this is extremely difficult to do. many are predisposed to talking in their head voice and not their chest voice, hence they aren't able to quite understand how to control their chest voice. an does it perfectly.
ena's voice is great, however she isn't the best. it isn't that she's bad at any particular category, there's simply others who do it *better* (i.e. Mizuki, Rui).
mizuki has a strong voice but Ena definitely deserved 1st her breath control vocals everything is really good especially her crescendos

Personally I love his voice…so as a Tsukasa fan, seeing him being the lowest on your tier list makes me cry- T_T (Also even though I’m not much of a fan of where you put some characters in this tier list, it was still a nice to see some good opinions on some.🙏)

i was slightly confused by the way you ranked each character, like was it based on solo-performance or their performance within the group? i think if you said which way you ranked it, the ranking would make sense, like for example: i can understand why you would put tsukasa low based on SOLO performance, but his performance within the group is a lot better. or with minori, she was still low but it seemed you ranked her based more on solo performance, which was why she was above airi. js smth for though in case you decide to re-do this video, i did really enjoy it!! :)
You are actually so real for this, I feel a lot of people overrate Tsukasas vocals due to him being one of their favourite characters instead of judging his vocals from actual singing skill (no hate to his VA of course he is still extremely talented)

Honestly a lot of your opinions match with mine. The only comments I would add are:
Tsukasa: obviously he sings a bit different in his solo because of the pitch down (he probably had to record a whole other take for the cover), but honestly I don’t think there was anything wrong with it. On the contrary, I thought it was good that they pitched him down because that high note in the chorus would’ve been impossible in the original key lol
Saki (and also kind of Tsukasa lol): the Tenma siblings tend to be much more unstable in terms of holding notes while singing, and that’s kind of their specialty. For some songs like Tera Tera and Nonsense Bungaku this works, but this also generally puts them on the lower end of vocalists for most people because they’re much more inconsistent
An: does she have great control? I’ve always thought that An as a vocalist tends to struggle in faster paced songs (mostly I mean songs like Bring It On, but that’s basically the only song of that variety that she covers in-game)
Nene: I feel like everyone knows this already, but Nene’s VA is a certified singer! She even sang the Konosuba OPs. Nene’s also a diva/songstress, so it makes sense that her singing voice would be so outstanding.
Toya: can we talk about VBS Archives Dramaturgy together. that cover changed my life omg. Also Toya’s VA’s range is actually insane because if you’ve ever seen Hypmic you’d know
Mafuyu: imo Mafuyu tends to use a lot of sobbing tone (idk I first looked it up in Chinese and that’s what it told me the English translation was) when her voice goes powerful and it gives her voice a lot of emotional weight but is also quite unhealthy. Also considering your placement of Kanade this doesn’t apply to you, but I personally greatly dislike sobbing tone and especially in the way that Mafuyu uses it.
Ichika: FINALLY SOMEONE WHO UNDERSTANDS :D I love the darker mature tone in her voice compared to a lot of other characters tbh
Shizuku: real because of that list of comments that runs off the screen, but also the light airiness in her voice that somehow doesn’t detract from her power??? she’s absolutely one of the most unique vocalists in the cast imo
Ena: Minorin (Ena’s VA, not Minori the character lol) has released songs and covers of her own iirc, it makes sense that her technique would be top-notch. Belting is actually really dangerous for your throat and she executes it perfectly and in character how.

Pjsekai thought they were good singers for each of their characters, no? So really, most of the characters will be quite similar to each other in skill level

I've seen ppl say so many things abt ena's vocals and especially shizuku's, like her voice being too soft (and yet they place honami and kanade higher than her) and has limited vocal range which I don't rly get but I'm also not one to judge either bc I too hv no singing background (but like i rly don't think she has limited range?? As someone who sings, I’d put Rui, Nene, Ena, Toya, Shiho, Kanade, and Saki on top.
It’s not mentioned, but they sing with support. It’s diaphragmatic breathing, and more resonance is allowed into the voice, allowing more control and range. Also helps high notes better (bc u need to support high notes) and smooths out voice quality.
I’m disappointed in Haruka, An, and Ichika.
All do not sing with support. Haruka gets strained easily. Her character is being an idol for most of her life and she can barely do notes that can be EASILY sung with resonance, especially for her voice type.
An sings with her chest/lungs. That accounts for lack of power. Singing from the diaphragm does give you more power, and since An has been singing a lot and VBS is based on vocal power, her voice could’ve been better to reflect it. Mentioned Toya at the top, yeah he perfectly represents VBS power; it helps that his vp was in Hypmic Mic.
Ichika, same with Haruka. Girl, you’re the lead singer of Leo/Need and you sing worse than the rest of the members.
I get that the VAs sing in character. If you can sing with support, you can totally sing in character.

Unfortunately, no matter how much of a Tsukasa fan I am, I have to agree that her songs are almost always 60/40, 60% likely to not sound harmonious and 40% likely to sound good (not incredible, just good).
Although I suppose that we cannot demand so much from him, Emu and Minori, since they are basically "embodying" their characters, Tsukasa is someone who keeps shouting and "exaggerating", it is impossible to ask that he not do so in his songs. do, because he would stop being "himself", just like Emu and Minori. Emu is the same case as with Tsukasa, both are very energetic, in the case of Minori it is because even her design could be said to be "simple/common", so her voice is not usually something to highlight beyond be soft (although she is overshadowed by Haruka and Shizuku, or Airi who has a slightly more squeaky voice)
Still, I'm really surprised by Ena, I feel like she does it well, but she doesn't have something to highlight like the others, in my opinion the other members of niigo are better (Mafuyu and Mizuki can do really thunderous voices, Kanade with her soft voice sometimes it will make your hair stand on end, while Ena... ?)

Shiho fan here, I agree with everything you said about her. She does fall slightly behind in her LoW cover, but I think her voice fits perfectly in all her other alt vocals
In my opinion, the best voice in the game is nene, her voice is so cute and unique i love it! The second one is mizuki, she is my fave character too. And then An and Akito, I guess their voice together are so nice and i love their alt too (Odo alt is just so good!!) The fifth one is Shiho's, I loved her voice since Bang dream when promise was released and Lisa had a focus in a roselia song.

YOU think like ME Personally, I like Mafuyu and Ena's vocals the most. I like Mafuyu because her voice is so emotional that she seems to cry all the time. When I listen to it, it gives me pain in my heart and goosebumps. However, Mafuyu's vocal is very specific to the group. People who like it will like it a lot. But people who don't like it won't like it at all (YEAH, I'm in a group that I really like :D)
As for Ena, her vocal can be both high-pitched and low-pitched (although mostly higher-pitched). However, Ena's vocal is not specific to that group. Therefore it is easier to access. Personally, I like Mafuyu's vocal a bit more than Ena (because of the group I just mentioned), but overall the most mellow vocal is still Ena.

Hi! Vocalist here! And I would like to give my opinions!
One thing that stood out was what you said about Shiho and Ichika, while their voices go really well together… Lost One’s Weeping was not a good example. I personally dislike their voices in that cover because they’re singing in different keys, which doesn’t help them sound like they’re actually harmonising together.
Other than that I agree with everything! I think the only reason An sounds off in some songs is because they’re mostly covers, and An has a very specific voice range, so it makes her hard to sing those kinds of songs. Whereas with commissioned songs, the key and range is made with her in mind.
Also, Mizuki is heavily implied Transfem, however the pjsk jp server website states that their gender is ‘?’. Mizuki also uses the pronouns “Boku” to refer to themself, which is considered more masculine however some tomboys will use it as well. Rui, when referring to Mizuki, uses “Kun” (Which is masc) at the end of their name but he does that to everyone, even Emu. In flashbacks, we can see Mizuki with shorter hair while wearing the more masc school uniform, and we have seen people comment about Mizuki’s outfit. In the global server, Mizuki is referred to with both she/her and they/them pronouns however it is unknown which one they preferably use. So, TLDR; Mizuki is heavily implied Transfem, but Non-Binary is also a possibility.
Also the name Mizuki is gender-neutral.

@@lenny4244 I took lessons in school for about 2 years before being self-taught by YT videos and stuff for about another 2 years. It's a long process getting your voice just right but I'm proud of it!

Can't relate for the most parts, but I'm aware this is a personal preference and I like seeing other's point of view (preference), especially when they try to explain it like this. Though let me just say that while you can rank them from 1-20, all of them deserve to be in S tier.
