I went to animangapop Brighton in 2022 and it seems like it was pretty similar to your experience. It was very quiet (I don't even think other events were on around that time) and the vendors seemed to be having a tough time making sales. I had been considering vending there but after visiting, decided it's probably not worth it. Thank you for making this video though it was a good, insightful watch :D

I really should have done more research, but it’s still hard to tell how things will go, as it could have been better than the previous year. I’ve at least learnt a lot from the experience!

I have had bad and good convention experiences, I am glad you made your table back! I do hope you continue to work these events and research on events before you commit. im going to be in the artist alley at animangapop's manchester convention. this video worries me but im trying to price my stuff very cheaply to suit the cliental of the con. its my first con so mabye its okay if i dont make that much profit and i just enjoy the experience
Don’t lower your prices! At Animangapop, there just wasn’t enough people to buy stuff in the first place and too many sellers. If you lower your prices, your profit will be reduced even more. It’s probably a good one to start at because it’s very slow/quiet, BUT don’t let that put you off going to other cons/markets/events. I’ve made more money from doing a one day market in my local shopping centre than I did at Animangapop. I’ve never done Manchester, so you might be more successful anyway! I have no idea if it will be busier. I hope it goes well for you 😊
