Catherine! Hey girl hey! I know I mentioned a book a few years ago, but how about a seasonal or yearly coloring book? It could be like a webtoon to tell a story or just your characters through the seasons. A two page spread like your mouse mats. Ugh- I always come up with ideas watching your videos. Keep the inspiration up!

If you’re having trouble finishing the calendar by your desired time, maybe try drawing out 2025 throughout 2024? Every quarter have 4 calendar pages completed and then you can spend the last quarter finalizing your designs on all 12 pages? 😁👍🏽

I do love packing orders as well! Oh, and since working in retail the last 6 years (or maybe I'm just old), I don't feel Christmassy at all. :D
A great in-between for photoshop and indesign is Adobe Illustrator. It has the intuitiveness that photoshop has but allows you to work on multiple art boards at once (like indesign). I design full-time (and also not the biggest indesign fan) and 99% of the print files that are requested at my job are illustrator files.

I would love to see how you plan out your day, week, month, and year. I have seen you use Notion, but I'm struggling with the setup. I'm trying Trello now, we'll see how it goes. I have always used Google calendar, but I wanted a space to keep track of all my biz stuff.
I also struggle with organizing my time and sticking to it.

Hello! Have you ever thought about making scrunchies?? It would just be adorable to have the same seasonal illustrations in a hair scrunchie!
Why not make a calander page each mounth while in the spirit of that mounth. That way you can have it done early - mid Dec and it's not as harsh on u come Dec.
Thats a good idea, but ideally you should start selling next years calendars in october at the latest.

Hi Catherine, I might have a tip for you about your shoulder tightness? Try some yoga! If you know the right poses to do, you can relieve some of the tightness in your shoulder, which will also reduce your risk for carpal tunnel as well. I'm not a yoga teacher but downward dog is really good for bringing balance to the right and left sides of the body. A yoga practice will also help you with your desire to be more meditative and to rest your mind when it is overactive. Fabulous job you've done finishing off the end of the year. You and Dean are looking great! And Mike is such a lovely presence in your videos too. Cheers from California! And Happy New Year! ❤

I know you probably don’t like people telling you how to run your business … but I’d like to make a suggestion to help relieve your stress. Most small businesses like yours would be working on product 6 months out from a launch. So … you could be working on Dec launch in June … and calendar launch in July. It will mean some hard work to get ahead but once you are there … I’m sure the stress will be relieved. Happy New Year! Have missed you! Hugs Andrea xx

Is Dean humming recognizable songs or just random sounds as he concentrates? I think hearing someone humming is nice cause it usually means that they are happy.

I'm a little confused, so the calendar had the same illustrations it had last year?
What if you did your calendar illustrations one at a time on a monthly basis? That way by December 2024 you'll have all 12 illustrations done for the 2025 calendar. Just a thought. Hope it helps! ❤
Why don’t you pre pack all of the stickers, totes, pins, stock you have? It would save a ton of time when it comes to picking, and for filling orders.

Not sure what editing software you use but you can detach the audio for the scenes where you speed up and then put some music in its place.
