Hi, thanks so much for commenting, I'm really glad you enjoyed it considering you're such a fan of the song! i have already commented on this post/ song under my other e-mail address, another question for Elenoor and the lost, just wondered which drama collage you went to with all your talent ?
I didn't go to drama college (although did spend some time on a Commercial Music course at university) but did several LAMDA grades in drama during secondary school and have acted in a few plays, films and musicals. My focus was more on music so I studied music technology, completed up to grade 8 in classical singing, several piano grades and have performed as a backing singer, session singer, and in bands and singing covers and my own music since I was a teenager. So it's been a mix of a few different types of training and varied experiences. I've found it all valuable in different ways!
@@Psmith-ek5hq That is true! My mum heard the song and wanted to name me after it but in the UK Eleanor is often pronounced Elean-uh so she added an E on the end to suggest it was pronounced like 'more' and 'before'. @@eleanoreandthelost I see. A pity really. Your mother thought that your spelling would at least save you the tedium of not having to correct people. I would pronounce it correctly if I read it!
I'm a bit confused as to what you mean - is it that you're saying I miss the first line of the chorus out one time (which I can't find on the video), or something about how I go to the second line of the chorus from the previous line? I've realised from searching TH-cam that the version I've known all my life is listed on TH-cam as the Remastered version and is possibly the re-released version included on the LP Nicely Out of Tune, whereas the phrasing of the melody on what is listed as the US mix or single edit that I believe was released earlier as a single is different in a few places.
Oh well, Lindisfarne themselves liked Eleanore's version so much that they offered to promote it if she ever recorded it as a release - but what would they know?
I'm guessing that you mean how dare I cover this song but I was named after it so it means a lot to me.
