I tried a domination victory with China recently on Immortal and Epic, was doing pretty well took 3 capitals out of 8 but then got absolutely stomped by the Zulus
I’m doing the same on an east Asia map with all Asian nations. I conquered Japan but now I’m fighting a defensive battle against the technologically superior Huns. I seriously hope I don’t get trampled.
@@bigbubble4282 I ended up having to restart the game because I saw where things were going and I went for a science victory after. I didn’t end up getting trampled though.
Paper Maker is also great if you go for a Puppet empire. Puppet cities are always gold focused, so they will prioritize building the paper maker. It's not that big of a bonus but a good one to have if you end up conquering your entire continent or planet lol.
Some good information here, I just wanted to chime in about the temple of Artemis. You mentioned the plus 10% food but that's not quite accurate. It's plus 10% growth. Growth is based off excess food. Of which civs typically have little. Or rather much less than the overall food counts. As far as bonuses go, an additional 10% growth is so weak it's hardly even worth factoring into your decision making. Though the plus 15% production on ranged units could certainly be useful when playing as China. I'm not certain that that 15% production for ranged units applies to siege units though. I believe civ classifies units as; melee, ranged, and siege. So that would be an interesting tidbit of info to have. Cause bonus production towards siege units as well as your unique unit would be really nice. Gonna run my next game as China cause I didn't realize how XP affects great general points earned. Would certainly make for an interesting game. Trying to beat a game on diety this year. I seem to be stuck on immortal, winning about half the time. But between the double attacks and the extra great generals...that could be a pretty big game changer. Citadels are super effective in territorial wars which seem to be never ending on higher difficulties.

@@JumboPixel Actually the thing about the Temple of Artemis is that it SAYS growth bonus but actually it is a food bonus, the tooltip is mislabeled. ZigZagal's guide on steam community goes into that whenever it's a recommended wonder.
really informative vid, I subbed. I think you need to maybe slow down a tiny bit when talking though, sometimes you kinda mess up an explanation and make it confusing, overall I look forward to more content
