Battle prep is no cooldown, pure rng spec. With more than 20k def you have 20% chance to block 30% of incoming damage at lvl10, rolled each hit. Sometimes you blok 100 in a row, sometimes 0. If the RNGesus is on your side, you good to go. ;) I think you should mention the Marvel NOW costume, def/attack/unbreakable will +6 (its the silence and the provoke smack) and Age of X with def/attack/shield throw +6. Even WW2 with def/HP/spin +6 (indomitability is the hardest hitting skill in caps repertoire) As for pve specs, imo best are vanguard, spot weakness, 3% life leech and Extra DMG after h2h skill. With bleed on the enemy, after h2h skill and with vibration gauge full, your indomitability will do almost 100% extra dmg. Ez 2mil crit, which will heal you back to full HP bcos of 3% life leech spec. (I dont even use potions in stage 5 bcos of it) Peace.
And also i think running go the distance(spearhead skill with the kick) in place of forefront in dd is viable as well, shorter cooldown, and better range and tracking. Basically jumps across half of the arena to kick enemy in the face.

What's the difference between steampunk and regional, like what does it do. I'm new so not sure what you are saying. Also witch battle badges do you recommend
Cap have only 2 regional options. Dd and midgard. (Dd is better bcos spearhead got buffed). xand and hydra could be usefull when support role going to be viable and rewarding. Now its just dps that matters.

they are tied to each hero. so you can do up to 3 at the same time if you have enough tickets!

Steampunk gives u more stats than regional set n regional set gives u more stats than the normal set

Good question! No, you don’t lose the defense. You keep it and you get additional attack. So it’s basically double dipping your stats
